  1. The one thing Sherman brings is some GM experience. He can teach Marv some of the ropes and Marv can read literature to Mike. Seriously though Sherman is the type of coach that could do well here. Figure Marv is only going to be GM for 2 years, you need an organized coach who can help out with some of the Gm role initially plus be a good on field coach. He is going to have a lot of say and be listened to on our needs. Perfect situation for that person who wants to be a coach/gm like Mike was at one time and had GB doing okay with until they stripped him of his GM role and their GM cut everyone, and still expected Sherman to win.
  2. He would be a huge upgrade over meathead.
  3. And his bodyguard at Mcdonalds.
  4. WTF. How many other cities stalk a perspective coach like we do. Holy sh-- maybe it is harder to coach in Buffalo with the fans and media then a bigger market that has more sports to offer.
  5. One mistake. Edgar Bennett was the Running Backs coach in Green Bay. We need him here.
  6. You guys are all assuming that Gray has not already been offered or even in fact interviewed.
  7. Wrong, Brown and Fina resigned the same year, Brown for 7 years 32 million and Fina at 6 years for 27 million. Both of these were considered undervalue contracts. To add to that Fina was cut the ery next year to save cap space, which was used to sign Mike Williams. Now that Williams big mopney years are due, he too will be tossed. Just as management leaked that Brown sucked and was a locker room problem, they cut him as well. Again, in a year when he was expected to actually start earning a lot of the contract money. No the Bills owner has never really wanted to part with money for offensive linemen.
  8. What makes you guys think it will be different now. Even in non-capped year when Levy was coach we lost guys like Wolford, Ballard, etc... because Ralph was too cheap to keep them, even for hometown discount. Ralph seems willing to pay for name players (Spikes, Fletcher, Milloy, Vincent, etc...) But when it is a top tier Olineman , etc... Ralph has never opened the purse string. Why do you guys think it will be different now? Hull was an undersized reject from the USFL and friend of Kelly's. When Wolford, and ballard were due for Big contracts they were let go. Blame TD all you want but the management of this team has never paid going rates for top tier Olinemen, period.

  10. You're cute when you're angry. Now shut up and bring be a beer.
  11. He's British, doubtful that he drinks real beer. He probably drinks some piss English beer. He couldn't handle a good Irish beer.
  12. I am pretty sure that both factors apply to at least 90% of this board. The other 10% is typically afflicted with one or the other at various times.
  13. Only the podium knows and he ain't talking because someone stole his ham sandwich.
  14. Not sure why a team would want a new contract. 610K and 1.08 for a starting player is easy money, especially since the team trade too, would not have have to have cap monies tied up in bonuses.
  15. Don't get me involved in this. I am just passing by. CTM, can fight his own battles, especially with you.
  16. So says "Squeeky Voice".
  17. Are you sure? Someone said they saw Mayflower moving trucks at the airport.
  18. Yes, that is how the management structure works. Just like if Donahoe gets a job elsewhere then Ralph doesn't have to pay him what ever postion of his contract the new team pays.
  19. So Chicago can take a bunch of scrubs and a TRUE rookie non-first round QB in Orten and win. Who is the Oline coach. Because our Oline coach takes players from good running teams (Teague from Denver, Anderson from Baltimore), plus some 1st rounders in Williams and makes them look bad.
  20. Not fair to Marino. At least he got to the Super Bowl once.
  21. Wasn't there a pitcher, who was real wild who got tossed. Aiken or something like that.
  22. Not really in Browns case. He had a very high cap number. Similar to Moulds. Unless he was willing to take a major cut there was no way the Bills could keep him. Same thing will happen with Eric this off season. The fans bitched about Brown but that wasn't ultimately the reason he left.
  23. He's been doing that for a couple years now. But hey I hear around here that Lee Evans is just as good.
  24. One Oline one Dline. BTW what the hell is a reserve-future contract? Bills | J. Thomas signed to reserve-future contract Sun, 15 Jan 2006 11:01:07 -0800 The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent OG Jason Thomas (Dolphins) to a reserve-future contract worth two years with base salaries of $385,000 (2006) and $460,000 (2007). Bills | Word signed to reserve-future contract Sun, 15 Jan 2006 10:56:21 -0800 The Buffalo Bills have signed free agent DL Mark Word (Raiders) to a reserve-future contract worth two years with base salaries of $460,000 (2006) and $545,000 (2007).
  25. 2 injuries does not constitute shreded. Other then Spikes and Edwars (who sucks anyways) who was really injured for more then a game or two?
