No what I have said he that he has shown well in the passing game, and getting a body on rushers, where his foot speed helps. However he is terrible in my opinion in the run game, and has no push and his not suited for that reason on the rightside. He needs to go to LT where that will be less of an issue. Not onboard at RT, where he is a poor option, and not very good. He maybe better at LT, I don't know, and willing to give him a chance because of the things I mentioned. Does that make sense?
-
Understand, but I hope we address the interior line in FA, and a LT isn't going to start right away in the NFL with any success. Beyond that I think if Peters is as good as everyone thinks and his speed he should be moved to the left. A solid RT can usually be found later in the draft. So Hawk in the first, RT in the 2nd, and a couple DT after that. Get a stud Center and RG in FA, and I still believe Anderson with a good Oline coach is the LG. I just hate passing on a sure stud like Hawk if you can get him.

I want Hawk. I still can't believe we drafted Evans or Losman, and passed on DJ Williams.

Delay used Disabled Children as cover
VABills replied to Mickey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No. What delay did maybe in poor taste, what Hilarys team did was illegal. Immoral and Illegal are not the same, or so those on the left keep telling me when it comes to the abortion questions. -

No, No, No. Whoever drafts Bush needs to get Trey Cheney, the running back from UAB. Then you have Bush-Cheney.

WIVB-tv reports several Defensive coaches gone

So not only is mularkey a poor coach, a locker room menace, but he is a back stabbing boss, who will kill anyone just to save his own hide. A yes, way to go Ralphie boy, keep the meathead another year. -
They have committed to 8m bouns to keep Carr until 2008. So do they trade down 2 or 3 and pick up Brick. Seems to be the most logical choice for them. Texans | Carr to stick around Thu, 5 Jan 2006 12:44:47 -0800 ESPN reports the Houston Texans plan to pick up the $8 million bonus on QB David Carr's contract, keeping him under contract with the team through the 2008 season.
-
We can only hope Mularkey forgets what he knows so we never have to see that abortion of an offensive style again.
-
See Mularkey is more like Gollum. Everyone knows he is evil/bad but Frodo (Ralph) keeps him around.

The "Myth" of Krumrie is over?
VABills replied to In space no one can hear's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah and bennie Anderson was probably our best offensive lineman the last 4 or 5 weeks. And Josh Reed was our most consistant receiver all year long. Pretty !@#$ing sad isn't it? -

Good, no more !@#$ing wrestling matches to motivate the DL. Now we need to get rid of Clemnets (I know already gone), Mcnally, and who ever the non-existant TE coach is. -

VABills replied to Mickey's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
True, but the point is that they are all evil, corrupt beings. But yet nowhere in the Abramoff charges does it say Delay did anything wrong. Abramoff did, but Delay was just the recipient of the funds? What is this guilt because someone you know does something wrong? The difference is Clinton campaign did do something wrong. -

Oh look you political hack, Hillary is using Hollywood for fundraising. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/01/05/hil...a.ap/index.html But I guess it's okay because she is a democrat right? Politicians all suck, when you realize that you will be halfway there. -
Correct. If a coach, GM, etc... is rehired the old team only pays the difference in contract value they are not on the hook for the whole amount. This no double dipping. And yes all contracts are that way.
-
They knew that's where the hot babes would be.
-
And when I mentioned several weeks back that it was likely some kind of politico or celeb you laughed it off and said something like , yeah Oprah is helping Al Qaeda. But what do you know it was a celeb and a very good reason to keep it out of any possible public pervue.

Singletary isn't getting the Detroit job.

Because we got rid of the lesser of two evils. -
Was it his second year. I am old. But Thurman was pulled and that was Marv's excuse, that a rookie, or maybe young kid should not break that record. I actually have been trying to find the quote and find Thurmans stats from the 1st 2 years.
-
Yup. In fact in Thurmans first year, Marv benched him in a game, when he was coming close to breaking the single game rushing record, because as Marv said "he wasn't going to let a rookie break a record".
-
No my point was meathead junior, that Meathead Sr. got worse. Marv never got worse until the end at KC, and then he got fired. But he improved that team each and every year until then. Meathead senior took a 8-8, 9-7 team and drove them to the pits of the NFl in 2 seasons. But way to ignore reality.
