  1. Thanks, couldn't remember his name, but knew it was close.
  2. He had Spoon or something like that as his OC. He was terrible and their offense was always in the bottom third of the league. I am hoping thats what the hold up was, trying to find a strong OC, and why Loften Caldwell and a few others were talked to before naming Jauron.
  3. Marv was a coach who was building a very bad KC team. Until the year he got fired that KC team improved every year under Marv.
  4. Yeah, and maybe he didn't push him a lot, but contact in the back right next to the returner has got to be called. Piss poor call.
  5. That was behind the shoulders. That should have been called back. Great return by Smith, but should not count.
  6. This thread can probably be unpinned. Is it possible to pin one for Chicago fans (all three of them) to post comments on Jauron?
  7. Actually they were 15th in 2001, 25th in 2002 (lots of injuries though), and 14th in 2003.
  8. Well one way to look at it. It is still a 1000% better choice then meathead.
  9. In another typical Buffalo Bills and Ralph Wilson move, the Bills can be counted on to underpay or not sign high priced/high profile olinemen or coaches. While I think Jauron will be an okay coach, he probably was cheap as it was obvious SHerman was asking for some major coin. That said, the Bills can be counted on to sign the less expensive FA (e.g., Trey Teague), and not go after the Bentley's or Hutchs. JPL and Holcomb prepare to be abused in the backfield for a few more years.
  10. It was planned for the Bills to chock in that game. Saben said show me what you got in the 1st quarter and then lay a duck. We are in the playoff hunt and if you want a job next year, roll over.
  11. http://www.wgr550.com/bills/fullstory.php?id=1345 So Jauron is here and Sherman is at home. Pretty good indication that Dick is the man.
  12. Don't start. If you do a quick search there are people her that said Cowher sucks and meathead was better. It's hard to tell how good our TE's are, they are never used or if they are they are playing RT. As far as defense goes, we were #2 last year. Even before Spikes went down we were a lot worse. The only difference was Lebeau and Pat Williams.
  13. Quick search. Heres 1 : http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=512348
  14. You guys who say JP is as good as Ben must be excited. Since JPL is this good, once the defense gets back to where they were 2 years ago, we are going to the Super Bowl.
  15. No more slash players. We drafted Smith 2 years ago and Parrish last year as our slash players. No more. Enough.
  16. No. But if I had pretty much known since Tuesday that I had an offer on the table, you could bet your little bottom that I would want an answer from those other companies asap. Or if I didn't really want the first job, yeah I would string them along.
  17. And if that is your analysis, it means he is settling for the Bills and probably not what he really wants to do, and would accept anything else if available.
  18. Means we still don't have a headcoach.
  19. Bates is a defensive coordinator
  20. HC: Dave Wannstedt OC: Chris Palmer DC: Jerry Gray STC: Ronnie Jones Conditioning coach: Peewee Herman
  21. that the Bills are now in serious discussion with Dave Wannstedt. Just when you thought it couldn't get worse then meathead.
  22. The NFL rules now require that one individual be the majority holder of a team. The no longer a GB type situation. Therefore while this is a nice thought you have to have one of the principles outright own 50% plus 1 share.
  23. A quitter. It was obvious that he had a lot of influence in the decision not to play the last three games. Stop blaming that all on TD and MM. If JPL wanted to play and could have he would have ensured it got leaked to the press. This goes in line with his whole college experience as well. When it was determined that he may never start at UCLA, he quit before he even tried to show them what he had and switched to a third tier school. He has continued to show the pattern of just giving up and taking the easy road rather then proving himself. Talent can't always be taught but he is a coward to the bone.
  24. Guy at work is pissed that meathead might wind up in Miami. He was swearing at me this morning for Buffalo letting him go. He said the only thing it will do is ensure we get two wins against Miami because of him.
