Tom Brady made a pass at him rather than to him

Mahomes is obviously great but I would stick with the way things played out. It's not that I think Allen is better, more that I just prefer watching Allen play and I prefer his story. I'm just so glad he's a Bill, so I wouldn't switch him for anyone. And no, with Mahomes I don't think we'd have won a SB

Imagine how good Allen would be if Patrick was his first name -

Liking the Lions going all out. That's how I wanted us to play back when we had guys like Jauron in charge. If we're to lose, do it in an entertaining way -

That's why I refuse to get cocky about playing the Phins, Jags and Jets. The Jets beat the Titans for crying out loud. Sure, earlier in the season but when you see the difference in talent it's insane. -

Yeah I agree. Just saw the Pats score and it brought the hate back to the front of my mind. I just hate them more than anything else on earth. Even more than war or famine Have to say it's nice to see the Bengals with a winning record. Always had a soft spot for them since the Ickey Shuffle -

Who to root for: Pats or Jets? On the one hand I despise the Pats but I'm sort of enjoying the Jet meltdowns every time Zach Wilson drops another turd -
The issue I see with releasing private emails and allowing their contents to be judged based on how offended the public happens to be is that being offended is such a subjective thing. Let's assume there are emails between owners and Goodell where they are throwing racial slurs at Kaepernick. That one isn't really subjective (I guess to rednecks it would be). But what about an email where someone says he doesn't believe there should ever be a female head coach? You know someone would be crucified for this and held up as a misogynist. But that could be an opinion where it's not simply black or white. Now for the record I don't agree with this this line of thinking, it was just the first example that came to mind. The problem with society now is that Twitter seems to have a build-in outrage-o-meter which is used to determine whether something justifies a punishment, and that's pretty troubling to me at least.

Ah, I was just about to begin this thread. Some good games this week so I'm looking forward to having a look around the league to see what's happening. Chiefs-Titans is a big one. Will the Titans play like they did against the Jets or like Monday night? I hope they do well because I can't be bothered hearing all the talk about how a heavy KC win means we are overrated (even though we pounded KC). Will Zach Wilson look better after a week's rest or will Belichick give him another nightmare? Bengals-Ravens is another big one. Most people have Cincy down as a paper (Bengal) tiger so we'll see how they do in this. I think this will be a good game. Lamar has never lost to them, can he keep that streak going? Cards look certain to remain undefeated... or can the Texans pull off the shock of the season? Probably not but I'd enjoy it as I'm sick of all the Kyler love. Goff Vs his old team. Stafford against his old team. How strange. Goff was called out by his coach last week, will he go out with even more motivation and get them their first win against one of the NFC favorites?

Privacy for Josh Allen and Bills' players
RobbRiddick replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jesus Christ, how many times do I have to say it. I was drunk and have no idea how I ended up in Josh's bed. I was as surprised as he was when he got home and woke me up. Like I told the cops, I was only naked because the covers were so snug. -
Yeah, I mentioned this a few weeks ago in one of the threads. It used to be a big deal when a QB led his team down the field in the last two minutes (remember Elways Drive against the Browns, or the one he engineered a few years later against the Oilers in the WC round to set up a winning FG). It's become a thing now where if 30 or 40 seconds are left on the clock and a FG is needed you just assume the team will get into range

Emanuel Sanders - is What Was Lost Worth the Gain ?
RobbRiddick replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's amazing how things get questioned after a loss -
I said after we beat KC that I thought they wouldn't lose many more the rest of the way. That looked to be majorly wrong at halftime against the Skins but they got it together in the second half. They do have a really tough stretch coming up, but if they manage to beat a majority of the tough teams they play they'll have a distinct advantage once the playoffs roll around in that they'll be battle tested. One thing about our soft schedule that worries me is if we have it too easy and then get a shock in the playoffs when the really tough games begin. Still, I'd rather have the schedule we have because I want that number 1 seed and homefield. But I do think if KC manage to secure a playoff spot they'll be so, so dangerous

Beane's Draft Picks: Is Allen His Only Success?
RobbRiddick replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they lost by 3 points so of course some people will think his picks all suck. If they win after the bye week his picks will be mostly great again. I'm surprised Allen is still a good QB after he failed to get the first down -
My glass is not only half full, it has a little umbrella sitting in it and a few olives rolling around the base of the glass. (I drink at the Blue Oyster)
