  1. Jets and Falcons are bad but there have been so many upsets this season that I'm taking nothing for granted. The jets in particular will be treating it like their super bowl, wanting to end the season on a huge high.
  2. Well, he lasted a little longer than JP Losman
  3. Well he didn't help the Panthers much
  4. He's saving himself for the playoffs
  5. and watching one of the mistakes that were made before he was drafted
  6. I do remember him yes, he played the same season as the great Scott Zolak who went on to pump his chest out as the color analyst for Pats radio. You might be a lifelong fan, you might not. What I do know is that back then no one gave a ***** about the Pats and I never met people who claimed to be fans. If you look at the Pats attendances back in the early 90s when they sucked, they hovered around 30 thousand, 35 thousand, even for early season games. Some weeks it went down to 20-25 thousand. During the drought the Bills averaged 71 thousand fans (at a time when there were so many other ways to catch the game). The fact is a huge percentage of Pats fans are bandwagon jumpers. That's to be expected but I always laugh at their entitled attitude. The real longtime fans won't act like that because they've experienced the hard times. I'm looking forward to seeing how many stick around when Belichick has gone and they spend a couple of years in the AFC East basement
  7. I'm sure you're one of the super loyal Pats fans
  8. Seems to hit harder when it's someone who was so full of life. From a selfish point of view, this is another part of your own youth dying as his voice represented so many hours watching football as a kid. Sometimes I go back and watch clips from the 80s so I can hear the likes of Madden, Summerall, Enberg, Olsen and all those other guys. In that respect they live forever
  9. The guys on WGR said it best the other day - the Pats fans and media think they're the biggest character in the NFL movie and just assumed they'd dominate for another 20 years after Jones had a couple good games. They need to realize that they're just another team now and will have good seasons and terrible seasons like everyone else. Like spoiled children who have never been told "no" they can't handle not being the best year in, year out. I'm interested to see how many of their fans stick around once they have a few losing seasons in a row. I think a lot of them will jump ship to the the Chiefs or whoever
  10. Covid so much as looks at Josh and he'll just jump over it
  11. Bet they wish they were playing Jax this week
  12. I do like Waddle's TD dance, nearly as good as the Ickey Shuffle
  13. Great catch
  14. Not sure how many of their Covid guys they'll have back. Harbaugh is so good I could see them coming back and getting the upset, especially with how this season has gone so far
  15. lol a rookie named Ian Book is outplaying Tua
  16. Not the sort of pass you expect from a guy who's even better than Allen
  17. Lamar might be back for the Rams game, not sure how many of their Covid guys will be
  18. Today's halftime show brought to you by Fin Heaven: "Is it possible for someone to intentionally give Flo COVID before the next two games? Asking for a friend." Funny stuff
  19. that hit the turf, you could see the ball pop up, but they won't overturn it
  20. wow this Miami offense is gutless. clearly don't trust Tua to drive it up the field
  21. come on Saints, punch this in
  22. That was a terrible holding call
  23. Saints basically need their own pick 6 to have any chance. Fortunately for them Tua is on the opposite side of the field
  24. If Josh Allen were a Book:
