You are correct But Roman had a philosophy and a direction for the offense Bills were running team and hell or high water they tried to run the football . When it worked Roman stuck with it He just didnt have a passing offense to come back in games the Bills fell behind. Lee Smith is for blocking I actually get that one when he's not caught in stupid penalties. No idea why we waste 2 wr and 2 rb spots for special teams guys Foster, Roberts, Perry and Dimarco is too many spots for guys that contribute zilch to the offense. Also if McKenzie is active I expect at least jet sweep motion if not several runs out of him I wont know McKenzie he at least if productive on the end arounds I wish he was more trustworthy as a returner and Roberts would not be needed.

I blame Daboll simply for the Bills not having a identity on offense or setting up plays He's so scattershot with his play calls and constantly veers away when something is working. Think he's clueless on how to best use his personnel . Talking to a long time Browns fan and he mirrored exactly what I see on the Bills what he remembers Daboll running on the Browns

Duke needs to be active especially if were going in with a run heavy approach. Yeldon needs to be active as insurance in case either starting back gets dinged plus he's a pretty darned good receiver out of the backfield. Can argue that Sweeney offers more than Kroft. I dont know how well Sweeney blocks but were already using a spot for Lee Smith to block. Next year hopefully all these arguments are gone once the Bills upgrade the wr and rb rooms

Duke and Yeldon should be active RBs absorb a lot of punishment and we have been lucky with Gore and Singeltary. I'd play Sweeney as well, Krofft has not shown much of anything. Duke is a no brainer
