  1. Again, the balls in his court, he can restructure to the liking of all, be part of something special and remain in Buffalo, or become another journeyman QB.
  2. Yeah.....So many pro athletes look to make Buffalo NY their year round home! Especially right along the waterfront.
  3. SlamnSam, I hope you're right. I think the difference in NE was that Drew was the starting QB, got injured (nearly died), and when he came back not only was he physically behind but Bellicheck completly dismissed him. In Buffalo I think (hope) Drew would welcome the opportunity to bring along a young furture star, to be part of the change, as opposed to being pushed to the doormat ala NE. The ball (so to speak) will be in his court.
  4. The Buff news articles and the Leo Roth article in the D&C, referencing TD and Ralph Wilson Respectivley, would certaqinly indicate that it comes down to two things: Drews willingness to again restructure his contract and, his understanding that he may once again become a backup QB. We will see very soon what DB's thinking is, regarding his future in Buffalo, as the Bills braintrust seems primed to put the Buffalo QB stiuation in his lap.
  5. I agree.......on DTV.....I just don't think they (NE) did anything "wrong" in yesterdays game. It's a big boys game and just like we (Bills) had to take our just deserts and Cowhers "exhibition game" comments this past week, the Steelers and their fans need to take a good old fashioned butt whipping when it comes about....even in the AFC Championship game, when the entire football world is watching!
  6. Still my point......who among us would have compalined had we scored again? It's the AFC Championship game, not pee wee football.
  7. No way! I seem to remember an AFC Championship game in which a certain team won 51- 3 and we would pounded our chests even more had Marv and company put up another 7 that day!
  8. And our response to any other teams fans telling us to can SHOUT would be?
  9. A lot of "great" guys have not won a ring. And those bafoons in Philly do not deserve anything, because of their booing the McNabe pick. Boy oh boy where would philly be if they (fans) had gotten the pick they wanted? Philly fan = Ricky Williams
  10. OK.....They lost and lost and lost and lost and lost and lost and lost!
  11. Some of us were only 4 years old in 1968. But I have disowned my parents for not bringing me to the Rockpile at that young impressionable age. However, I like you have bled Red, white and blue forever.......a lot of bleed'n too!
  12. Our daughters swim coach plans this get together on a rare off weekend (swim meets) and we all go to see the movie Racing Stripes. I will tell you, it seemed like one of those movies we'd wait for it to come out on DVD.............That said...... TAKE YOUR KIDS, buy the large popcorn and the jugey (sp) fruits and watch a great movie! Great adult jokes, great laughs for the kids and a great story.
  13. Answer: Great competition for QB in training camp, with some young buck from Tulane WINNING the job, at least one new stud on the OL, and continued positive growth at DL, RB, TE and coaching. However, its' most likely because the Bills (all) chose to play the poorest in nearly two months against the Steelers, all the while the Jets opened the door for us, losing at the Rams. I do believe that the 2004 Bills were a better team than the Jets, the Chargers, and the Bronco's too bad it took them over a month to win a game. That said I think the 2004 Ravens were probably better than the Bills, Jets, Chargers and Broncos.
  14. Garbage.......Jesus freekin christ.......This is the same kinda talk coming from people (Bills fans) who actually cheered during a home game when RJ went down with an injury, Bills fans my A$$. Henry is gone, he's unhappy, he gave the Bills all he had, broken bones and all, we just happen to have a better runner in WM, than him! DB, a class guy who if still in the Buff will fight like a Tomcat to keep his starting role, as BB QB! That said, I for one still think (hope ) JP wins the starting job Garbage my A$$!!!!!!!!
  15. 41 on Sunday Growing older not up!
  16. I think your idea makes sense for any teams EXCEPT any in our division, thus Miami. Any trade to a division foe would have to be of great return for us and one that would not require our rooting for that player (read team) to perform well.
  17. ....oh you mean.......the sky is falling....the sky is falling......
  18. damn shame......but it would be a lie to say you didn't see it coming.
  19. .................one inch and counting and we are shutting down the town.
  20. Pooj- I have phone and DSL with Verizon. The package includes all local and unlimited long distance with all the bells and whistles, ie. voice mail, call waiting +++. Having family in New York and Washington State, this package has been very cost effective and the DSL service, including customer service has been very good....Customer service has been almost as good as DTV, which I think is saying something. I'm at work and can't remember what I pay a month for the whole package (phone/DSL).
  21. God I wanted those two (JON AND VIC) to lose so bad, but now the only pain in the ass is devil boy, so maybe losing Jon might not have been the best thing. I'm starting to root for the wrestling couple.
  22. They don't have a second round choice either. Ah, to be a radio sports anouncer.
  23. I trust TD will only trade TH to 'phins for "Top 5 RB" value, ie. a first round draft choice. And seeing that the Dolphins don't have a first round draft choice, or a second, any trade to the Dolphins would require a third team. Sorry TH but you real ought not to get to excited about the prospects of playing in sunny Miami. Oh I think its fair to say that you will not be in Buffalo in '05 but nor will you be in Miami, you will need to look west young man. Oh and I am sure that there are many teams in which TD would trade you to for fair market value, of which "top 5 RB" TH you are not. Second round or even third round would be fine.
  24. We met some friends of ours from Maryland and both families did our weekly shopping. We are sick......travel 100 miles to go grocery shopping. The most exciting part was the sauces....Boss, Snuffys; and the produce, my wife picked up cardones (sp) for frying. Hot dogs, (Zweigles) sausage and beer (Genny) and five pounds of pecerino romano cheese, all home weekend. Not to mention the bakery..Itailian bread with a crust.
  25. Yep I'm still recoving from my hangover
