I'm sorry to add that had they been a black couple none of us would have known about this case. All celebs are innocent unless proven guilty...but then the evidence is ignored and they are aquitted....unless you are a women who enjoys gardening and baking.

Now that's funny!

Speaking of queer......Why is this even a national news story? Husband kills pregnant wife.........Who are these people? What made them any different from the hundreds of other parties to domestic violence and domestic murder in this country each year. Once again the media proves that they control what we think about. ...Step off soap box....

(OT) My sons game last night is still bugging me.
30dive replied to ICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ICE, this guy is a time bomb waiting to go off. Last year during one of our games, through a pretty tough season, a dad who had been giving our staff the "what for" every game, confronted the head coach as we were coming back to the field from half time. He went chest to chest, pushed the head coach, all the while with the backup of some "friends". We other coaches stepped in to pull the guy off and the "your all a bunch of rasist, you won't play my son because...blah...blah...blah and then he starts throwing punches. This ended quickly, sherrif was called reports where filed, but no charges were placed as we figured we could sit down with the dad before the next game and come to an understanding. Note: half our staff is white, half black, w/ one asian. Sad part is, his kid (like your situation) is a good kid, nice athlete, not the best, but very promising. So we are playing a ranked team, and we are very young and not close to being ranked, and its 6-6 at half time and this dad pulls this crap, the next Monday he has his kid leave the team and the school....very sad. Coaches are not perfect, and I must admit I enjoy the occasional ripping we get from disgruntled parents, (keeps us honest) but when parents think their kid is a Div I prospect and he's not getting his fair shot because he's white, black or the coach is an idiot, that parent needs to stay home. -
And had the ruling on the field been that Evens was out of bounds would they have written that the Jets "might have caught a break"? I dougbt it! Had the ruling on the ruling on the field gone the Jets way, the Bills would not have been able to challenge the call, as they had no timeouts left either. The call was correct, and video at worst would have been inconclusive.....Kinda makes you glad they got it right though!

We won for christ sake, is it so important for us, that each week, win or lose, we need to find an "idiot"? Maybe it's time for you to Windex that monitor your sitting in front of and consider the reflection.

Bar Bill....Yep thats it! Checkmate, we run (make that ran) through EA from the Ralph over to 390 and then south....45 mins to Amherst in the winter, could be tough, but proximity to the Ralph!!!

Thanks all....I'm filing this thread....It appears houses are less expensive in Buffalo than in Richmond but the taxes bring it up a bit. Thanks all, keep your ideas coming.

I love East Aurora...I think...It think its the town we go through when we have driven to the Ralph from VA. Really cool bar with great wings in the village circle...Do I have the right town? Pretty far from Amherst...eh?

So here we go, my wife is interviewing for a Prof.. job at the University of Buffalo and things are looking pretty good, seems she would be at the Amherst Campus. Question where should we look to live? I grew up in Webster (Rochester) and would like to find a smaller village type community, i.e. like "old" Webster, Fairport, Hilton...I think you get the idea...We need good schools as we have two grade schoolers. Ideas?

The Simon cast was the only reason I had the DTV Regional sports package, oh well time to cancel the Sports package and add an extra receiver. Just wondering how can a town with two major league sports teams have such a crappy...soon to be non-exsistent sports station. Good Luck at GR Howard!

where will you watch next Bills Super Bowl?
30dive replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I might watch it with a few friends (true red, white and blue) , Bills fans in the comfort of my home. I could not do the party thing. I need a clear comfortable view of the tv to B word and cheer without the "I've been a lifelong fan of the seahawks/other" termite fan in the same room. -
It's simple if the Bills win 6 or 7 of their last 9, TD probably keeps his job" Yes a 8-8 team or 9-7 with a bulltet he just might keep his job.

On a transatlantic flight, a plane passes through a severe storm. The turbulence is awful, and things go from bad to worse when one wing is struck by lightning. One woman in particular loses it. Screaming, she stands up in the front of the plane. "I'm too young to die," she wails. Then she yells, "Well, if I'm going to die, I want my last minutes on earth to be memorable! Is there anyone on this plane who can make me feel like a WOMAN?" For a moment there is silence. Everyone has forgotten their own peril. They all stare. Eyes riveted, at the desperate woman in the front of the plane. Then a cowboy named Doug from Edmonton Alberta stands up in the rear of the plane. He is handsome: well built, with light hair and powerful blue eyes. He starts to walk slowly up the aisle, unbuttoning his shirt. One button at a time. No one moves. He removes his shirt. Muscles ripple across his chest. She gasps... He whispers . . "Iron this -- and then get me a beer."

President Bush tells Charlie Gibson of Good Morning America, with Laura by his side that he is in direct oposition to the Republican parties plank, and is in favor of same sex civil unions. He goes on to say that he is not in favor of restricting anyones civil rights, and if states leagalize civil unions to ensure those rights, he is in favor of this. The President went on to re-affirm his opposition to same sex marriages. This can't be good with his base. Before you ask...Saw the video report on CNN's Wolf Blitzer at 5:45pm ET
