Morse is more of the long form, a long career where they've accumulated over time, so it wouldn't be surprising if he got another if at this point in his career he was like GG everybody I've got enough hole punches to get the free sundae I'm out.
The plan for Lamar is, make him beat you from the pocket. He's a decent QB but taking away what makes him special makes that team much more manageable.
Felt like McDaniel's solution to McDermot/our defense taking away Hill and Waddle was to use them on those sweeps so he was able to get the ball to his fast guys anyway. Which it got them some yards for sure, but it also felt like it gassed the hell out of them.
I mean it absolutely would not surprise me if more teams have caught on how to defend McDaniel's offense. Other teams were catching on late last year and that's not including Mcdermot's biannual seminar.
I feel bad for TDPhinsTalk he knows Tua probably ain't it, but he's a ride or die fan so every year he straps himself in and rides it out until the team inevitably slams into the Earth.
A lot like last week started off hot then we adjusted and started taking it away only faster this time. Got hot again towards the end of the game but that was more of a "You're still running, really? You know what the score is and that it's the 4th quarter right?"
I'm not sure that would have helped on that play, when you slam your head into someone's chest like that a concussion is pretty hard to avoid. Might have given him a lesser history though.
Yeah the announcers talked about how the Jaguars game and this one revealed how to defend their offense, and it's like this how our defense has played them for years.
Probably have the offensive player this week with Cook being a RB with 3 TDs.
I mean that was part of the defense, he's a timing QB so hurrying him or pressing the WRs to throw that off which make him look off.
McDaniels essentially gave up right before the half. I mean I couldn't believe what I was seeing, a team down that much burning clock instead of going all in for a TD because they were terrified of the other team getting the ball back with time.
It's impossible(as in you should never call it) to call that when the defender is draped all over him like that, how can you call OPI when the defender was clearly already interfering himself. That'd be like arresting someone for assault because they fought off a mugger.
