  1. I think it's the dad who listens to music on that crazy stereo. You're right it is really pushing the male murderer down your throat and yea 90% sure it's going to end up being a woman just because... But I'm going with the guy who could have some issues and appears to be the least threatening person on the entire show. He doesn't sleep with the mom per their last conversation so he's free all night to go murder crazy.
  2. We had't missed an episode until Sunday night, even then we DVR'd it. I'll watch probably tonight but to be honest the show is so depressing i found myself dreading watching it because there are literally no high points to the show at all, it's just more self abuse and then more back story of abuse, then more self abuse wrapped up in a cocoon of drinking vodka through a smart water bottle. The writing is good, and it's well made but i won't miss it when it's gone. I'd much rather see a new season of American Gods. That show (minus one episode) was fantastic.
  3. We used to launch out of Ruskin right by there a few years ago. Back before the vehicles were getting broken into on a regular basis.
  4. more I think. Highway 33 is an absolute tragedy anymore I don't get down there very often. Just when I go to St Petersburg to fish. taking next Thursday/Friday off, i might head down Friday to try my luck at the Skyway again
  5. That sounds perfect! I hope he never gives that up.
  6. I hadn't been close to the lake like that you might get a better breeze. Looks like a little more up into the foothills too than where I hunt. You know 2 years ago they found an Elk in someones back yard in SC for the first time in over 200 years. Probably the fires up in TN/NC drove him down but still it was cool to see the pictures.
  7. so do you have to apply for draws for tags to hunt anywhere or just certain public lands? In Fl we have stupid quota hunts and lotteries. This state has hunting so mismanaged i stopped hunting FL i drive to SC instead.
  8. Spend a summer in the lowlands of SC and then tell me you want to live there full time. i hunt that area near Barnwell (or I used to, college tuition for my daughter nixed hunting season this year). It's hot, ungodly hot until November. Savannah is a nice place to visit I hear, but SC isn't some place I'd seriously think of retiring to. NC/TN would be better options IMO.
  9. If I lived up in WNY I would probably immerse myself in hunting. I imagine the weather is just perfect for it. You don't know misery until you've sat in a blind for 3 hours in South Carolina in 93 degree heat. No way the deer don't smell my perspiration.
  10. I think we have to see some live action before there can be any real competition on the oline. When you can't be physical because you aren't wearing pads what do you evaluate?
  11. It's hard to say what is too soon. Was it too Soon for Russel Wilson? Guy started from day 1 and it never looked like he needed any kind of learning curve at all. It's the situation and the individual combined. My thoughts on why Allen should not start early on are based on his inexperience with such little starts in college, and our sketchy offense in general. New Oline, no safety net WRs, a TE with a bum knee, and a HOF running back that commands the respect of the defense every single down. They'll key on Shady, but they'll blitz Allen every play. I think letting McCarron/Peterman go to at least week 9 is the right thing to do. But I don't get paid to make those decision. If they play him I'll root for him to succeed. If you look at what Wentz did his rookie year, 79 QB rating, i believe 16 TDs to 14 ints, his numbers were not great. But you could see he was the real deal. At least I could when I saw him play. I mean he was comfortable on the field, he knew what he wanted to do, even if he was doing the wrong thing, he had an idea of what to do. EJ always looked lost, Wentz never looked lost, he just looked like he needed time. Goff looked lost a lot his rookie year, but give him a better HC, better situation and man o man. Kid took off like a shot.
  12. I never thought he'd hit the market. He's a hero in Minn. You don't let those guys go.
  13. I believe Texas is very tax friendly too when it comes to retirement. IDK about Georgia but I know they are building a Villages style place there too. So it can't be all that bad. Georgia is actually worse weather wise IMO than Florida. They get all the heat and the humidity, but none of the sea breeze. Arizona has to be a good place, i mean there must be a reason retirees flock to there.
  14. I always wanted to know what was in those health shots they serve the older players at OBD, i know there's turmeric, and some other stuff and I think apple cider vinegar but I never found out the recipe. I'd like to do one of those shots a day and see what happens. But I can't stomach ACV every day, we have the tablets, the liquid is just too ghastly to handle every day
  15. Try PDQ if there is one in your area. We had it last year, the honey butter chicken sandwich was outstanding, better than CFA.
  16. And a 1 year rental on a CB we needed. That was a great trade. Without that trade, we don't get one of either Allen or Edmunds. I'll take what we ended up with.
  17. Daughter goes to FAU in Boca, you want to talk about high end cars, my biggest fear is she gets into a wreck in her Scion and hits some Bentley or half million dollar car.
  18. If and when I do retire I want to move to Loxahatchee FL. It's a little further south than I am, and it has some advantages over where I live now. Closer to the ocean and it's boat ramps, relatively affordable housing, and closer to the daughter and FSIL. But that's years and decades off so can't worry about it now. If I were to move somewhere solely based on climate, Waynesville NC just outside Asheville NC is a very nice place to be year round. Doesn't get too hot or too cold. Beautiful mountains, four full seasons, festivals, arts and other crap. Good hunting.
  19. I can't remember ever wanting some sports car after high school. Give me a 1999-2003 F250 4x4 diesel crew cab any day over a sports car. Can't haul hunting and fishing gear in one of those. I'm sure they are fun to drive and I don't doubt I'd enjoy driving one. I just have too much crap that requires me to haul it around for my fun stuff.
  20. we have fished maybe 4 times this entire year. once in February, went to Marathon just as Alberto was getting there to ruin it. fished twice there and once a few weeks ago. It's been a tough year to get out. Trying for one more trip before school starts, but like I said, weather permitting, and boat troubles have bit me this year. We've been incorporating turmeric into our diets for arthritis and joint pain. Not sure if it's working or not.
  21. If you are saying it wasn't all that memorable I do agree. Sammy's career to date has been a disappointment in my mind. OBJ's career is what we expected when we drafted him. Or Mike Evans, who is probably the most consistent WR in that entire class
  22. I really don't care for it myself. When we fish we wear long sleeve UV shirts, and buffs around our necks and faces. Only so much sun screen i feel comfortable putting on, too many chemicals. But I do miss it after 60days of clouds and thunderstorms. Seriously we have had less than a handful of nice days this entire summer.
  23. Have not lived in Buffalo since I was very young but the idea that FL is some kind of fair weather paradise is laughable. It has rained for more than 60 days straight here in central FL. Honestly since Memorial day weekend it has rained more this year than any other of the 35 years I've spent living here. When it hasn't been raining, the temperature is around 95 degrees. People spend all winter in the house up north, well we spend all summer inside because of the rain and the heat. NO different really. Miserably cold and miserably hot are both still miserable. I like FL, like fishing, scalloping, there are some outdoor activities here, but the hunting sucks, it's hot all the time, Mosquitos are the state bird, and if you go outside without sunscreen, you are going to fry like bacon. fair weather. not in my neighborhood.
  24. I would put his numbers around: 49 catches 760 yds and 3 touchdowns for 2018 I think Reid bought himself an expensive decoy. The rest of the offense should flourish. I just don't see Sammy being Julio Jones in 2018, or ever actually and I know Jones had what, 1 touchdown all last year? He's still twice the WR Sammy is.
