  1. Great post. Certainly clarifies why the decision was made. And a good sign that Whaley does the right thing rather than HIS (rogue) thing.
  2. I wouldn't equate a lack of news with inaction.
  3. Rain now out of the forecast, per Accuweather. Sorry if already posted.
  4. I like the idea of questioning the assumption that you try to avoid getting flagged. Questioning assumptions leads to innovation, which is the essence of what Bellichick does. The problem is, if this plan were implemented, after about the 5th straight defensive holding flag the refs would call 15 yarders for unsportsmanlike conduct. Gotta protect the Pats*.
  5. May be a last minute decision for me and my crew as far as where we park. Need quick exit for long drive home. Two weeks ago the ECC lot worked well for us. Thanks for posting this. TBD at corner of Hammers each week is a great idea.
  6. The rumor being...?
  7. Didn't know Victor Cruz was out for Sunday until Francesa lead the interview with it.
  8. No sarcasm intended, sorry you took it that way. Was just curious how you felt about Darby. I understand your point of view on DBs sometimes being fool's gold. But not having good ones can leave gaping holes and can get you beat in a hurry. As for what I personally subscribe to, I'm not smart enough or haven't studied it enough to have my own "drafting philosophy". Fortunately these days I'm able to just trust our front office then buckle in every Sunday.
  9. How do you feel about the Darby pick? Is that OK since he was a 2nd rounder?
  10. And how about our OC, GRo? If he isn't a major upgrade, I don't know what is.
  11. Although I don't agree on cutting Carpenter, I agree with this /\ completely.
  12. /\ Helpful and insightful post. Thanks
  13. Fantasy football mentality taking over here. We won, big.
  14. The same people arguing the sample size is too small now, will be the same ones arguing the same thing at the end of the year. "But it's only ONE season!" Bank on it. We know they deflated, they know they deflated, and Brady's escape on a technicality doesn't change that one iota. The physics aren't with them on this one, and their fumble rate will inevitably go up this year.
  15. Correct. Likely the folks who don't know what a paradigm is, and are too lazy to look it up or Google it. I forget the exact split between the RWS club seat license fee and the actual game ticket cost, but as I recall it's around 50/50.
  16. This is correct. In the summer time, you do not see many people outside during midday in Houston. Many downtown buildings are connected by tunnels, and they are filled. Ps - I got tired of the heat and moved to Pittsburgh a month ago. Also, what do Jim Kelly, Steve Tasker and Thurman Thomas all have in common? Each one either lived or played in Houston at one point in time, and all now make their homes in Buffalo. 'nuf said.
  17. Whoever our D coordinator is? How embarrassing (on top of everything else).
  18. My son and I bought cough drops for the ride home tomorrow. Seriously.
  19. I like it. It's like we're letting him know we know he's guilty.
