  1. Let's hope he doesn't start talking smack about JA on his Twitter like he did Cousins. Good player though.
  2. He was good at Carolina and NO. Good value signing.
  3. Definitely an impressive athlete. Had a great year last year with the boys. I wonder if he will cost a fortune as a result though, and then cruise once he's paid. I'd be amazed if Beane got Quinn on the cheap, versus what he's projected.
  4. Last year for sure. But wasn't he overpaid and underproductive in Miami the year prior? Like constantly injured and disinterested? Seems like a buy high candidate.
  5. Its NOT been a good day for the Jets and Dolphins though. So many threads on their sites talking about Thuney, Scherff and Conklin. Between them the only OL they have signed is Ereck Flowers ... Go ahead and cross Vaitai off that list too. Despair is creeping into their FA thread. Its well worth a look...
  6. Hopefully he will go to a WR needy team and push a player down in the draft. Broncos would be ideal.
  7. That's not a blue print that's a perfect storm of high first round picks across the DLine. Where the niners win on scheme is offense. I get wanting it, but you have to be an abysmal team for several years to construct a team like that. Let's see if they can sustain over time before we give the niners too much credit.
  8. I suppose it's ok to want more, but I think what McDermott and Frazier have achieved is far more impressive. For me what you're describing is the LA Rams. Dante Fowler, Clay Matthews, and of course the very special Aaron Donald. Cory Littleton, Jalen Ramsey. Great players coached by Wade Phillips. They ranked 17th. Would you swap personnel with LA? Would you swap statistics with that team in order to live out your more attacking scheme? I'm certain LA would swap the outcomes.
  9. Did he get benched and made inactive because of his on-field attitude then? Because I don't think that's true. This is exactly what I'm trying to figure out. Have people put him in the Odell Beckham bucket as a troublemaker and if so on what basis?
  10. Genuinely curious. What does this statement mean? What do you have against Norman? A lot of people don't like him because he talks smack and gets in people's face. Is this your issue with him? Do you see him as a bad influence? Because I can't think what else you could mean.
  11. He's in great shape, just last year he ran with the bulls in Pamplona. However he is slow. He was ALWAYS slow, his strength shows when he is close to the line of scrimmage.
  12. So you think Rivera should have kept him at 13 mill per year? Ron Rivera is a fool and wasn't the reason the Superbowl Panthers had a strong D. That man is currently the HC of the Bills.
  13. Some fans just can't be excited unless their team sign the most expensive contract for a player at that position in FA. Norman is slow (this is a fair truth), and was continually left on an island against fast WRs. If you put him in a position to attack in zone he will make plays on the ball and get interceptions. Hes great at defending the run and watch for his ability to 'peanut Tilman' punch the ball out of receivers hands. He will work in McDs system. What you don't want is him covering defenders deep without help. That was true even in 2015.
  14. Lots of good WRs. Don't overdraft because of need. I think Higgins could be a good player, but the Bills have to get the right character for this team and I don't love his fit with the Bills.
  15. I like this idea, though not the players OP chose. I am trading back to pick up Zack Baun and either Denzel Mims or Laviska Shenault. For those who think impact players only exist at pick 20 I give you DK Metcalf. Good players always fall....
  16. It's not the Charlotte Panthers. The motto here is two states one team. Clemson is in South Carolina, a half hour drive from Spartanburg where the Panthers hold their annual training camp. If you want to measure distance to the city where they play well Clemson is marginally closer to Atlanta than Charlotte so I will give you that.
  17. Turner has been average at best the last few years, since he got paid. He put on weight and seemed to lose his desire. At that salary and cap hit he's not worth it for the Bills. He could go to the Jets who need veterans to go with their soon to be drafted OL. Makes sense there. CMC is actually a candidate for a shock trade. The reason is this; the Panthers are in the middle of a purge. They aren't in win now mode and CMC is about to be the highest paid RB on the market. It makes no sense to do that at a time when the team will be rebuilding. Now if they get a huge pile of trade assets for him that actually makes a ton of sense. He isn't just an RB either as Yolo said. He's an outstanding route runner.
  18. That's a very narrow view though. This guy has far exceeded expectations for a third round pick, and the franchise won't reward him with a long term deal. He wants to continue his career in a place where he's valued with a long term deal. Any franchise could say we will get better. I mean what else are they supposed to say? Jax have Josh Allen and Calais Campbell too. They are holding him hostage. No bueno.
  19. How about JPP? Coming off injury, but still productive when playing-this years Robert Quinn? Might be had cheap for a DE
  20. It's true that Peat had a down year, but the prior 2 seasons he was a pro-bowler, a former first rounder picked 13th overall. The point is he is 26 versus Bulaga 31. Peat isn't in the conversation for most fans but may provide great value like Spain did this year, those are the guys the Bills need to look at. Recency bias can be one of the most misleading factors in free agency. I get that fans become excited about the idea of acquiring blue Chip players in free agency, but where I hope Beane wins again is that second tier of great value and fit FA.
