Espn is doing a 4 part series on Alabama preparing for the 2018 season. Should be interesting.

I'm a Bama fan and a Foster fan. I'm also all for giving a guy a second chance regardless of whether or not he went to Bama. At this point Foster has had his second chance. Another mistake and I'd kick him off the team.

Think that may have been more of Deshaun Watson than Dabo. If the acc was a stronger conference , Clemson would have lost more games last year. They were pretty pitiful against Bama.

I actually prefer Kirby. He is more like Saban than Dabo. Dabo is too rahrah for me.

This is an amazing run guys. Don't think we'll realize just how special until years down the road. Now if I could only get a job working for Bama life would be perfect.

Word going around is Fromm may not even be the starter this year. Which I think would be a mistake on Kirby.

He loves defense, has played def line, off line. He was in the camp as a tightend. He is tall for his age, has speed but not elite wide recvr speed. They definitely keep the kids (and parents moving). He was open most of the times they played 7 on 7. All in all he did good and learned a lot. He had fun and as we were leaving Tutwiler said he couldn't wait to go to college lol

My son and I are at the football camp this week. Saban yelled at his coaches lol If you've never met him he is an extremely motivated, one main goal, very detailed person.

Any numbers on him from the camps? Catches/yards?

I've always been pulling for Hurts. But I think it was painfully obvious 2016 that a better qb wins us a national championship. He just hasn't developed. Tua is now the man.

Have a feeling Bama is about to have two qbs transfer. Hurts and Jones. We will have 6 qbs on the roster with the new commit.

So dt went to 9 pro bowls in his first 9 seasons. Had that ever been done before? And not that good of a lb?

Don't let the chief's hate blind you guys. Dt was one of the greatest lbs of all time. Had he lived longer his records would be astronomical.

How is a player who is with his second team a journeyman? No one knows that Allen is the man and no one knows AJ isn't. If AJ plays great and Allen doesn't you have your starter. Really we want all 3 to play great. It gives this team great options. Some people like AJ some people like Allen. What's the big deal?

Sooooooo was anyone else at the minicamp or was it just Allen and Edmonds? Just went through 15 pages of a thread about the minicamp. 99% of the posts (that were related to football and the camp) were about Allen with 1% being about Edmonds. I saw one post about how Proehl did something about a 50 yard bomb Foster caught and that was it. How did everyone not named Allen do?

I don't hate any player from any team. I do dislike Cam Newton. He is just an all about himself player. Well there is Pac man jones too....just because players play on other teams dosen't mean I hate them. If they are good players you have to tip your hat to them. I also....(gasp) like other teams.

I don't think anyone "expects" it but to just throw all his bad highlights out there and just state his bad stats is close minded. When his good points are pointed out those are thrown out the window. If you just watched the highlights and listened to some people on here you'd think the guy couldn't throw a forward pass. Right now NO ONE knows anything about how he will do with this opportunity with this team. It doesn't matter how much you dislike the guy (not you personally) or what stats you throw out there, you don't know how he will do. So it would be nice if people would give the guy a chance and keep an open mind.

On the super great offensive team the Bengals AJ qb'd them to the same amount as points vs the Steelers as did the Andy Dalton led Bengals in 2015. He also had a better rating 68% to 64%. How did he perform as well as a full time starter when he has had less games? People just love to hate.
