The NFL ratio of coaches to players likely is the highest of any other Pro sport. ...though I've seen youth hockey teams with higher ratios with wanna be coaches/Dads. The trend is growing more coaches are needed to win but has not been proven to be an absolute. Here is the breakdown of coaches per team for 2018: (Warning ! This might be painful for some to read.)
