Idk why GMs are always judged on the QBs they take. GMs miss in drafts all the time. I'm of the mindset you keep drafting QBs until you have one. If Allen is still struggling by the end of next year then draft one. It's just really hard to grade Allen because the offense is so bad. Its historically bad. We will see what DA can do today. As much as I like McDermott the QB situation is a total mess.

Most NFL players do. Gronk has had alot of injuries. For a guy who claims hes never spent a single game check maybe it's time to hang em up.

I'm not putting blame on anyone but our QB situation has turned into a disaster. You can says its because of this or that but the truth remains the same. Who would have thought going into this week our QBs would be Derek Anderson and Nathan Peterman? The QB situation seems from the outside to have been horribly mismanaged. It's almost laughable. Allen is now injured...this staff has repeated started Peterman and everytime it's been a league wide joke how bad he is..now we bring in DA off the street. Iys almost reminiscent of EJ and Orton. Young raw QB...veteran brought in immediately improves offense...where does that leave Allen? Does he go back in when healthy? Does he only go in if we are out of the hunt? If he does go in and doesnt out play DA do people then say..we traded up and took a QB 7th overall and he cant out perform a journeyman back up? I dont know. I try not to be overly critical of this coaching staff but this whole QB situation has turned into a big mess imo. You trade all those assets to move up and get a QB and this is the situation now.

I love fitz. But this whole offense is a problem. I dont even know what to think about this organization at the moment.

I cant blame hughes. I'm pretty sure everyone on that defense is thinking the exact samething... he just said it. Defense played above and beyond today..and again our offense was embarrassing. Hopefully they can do alot in one off season.

Its early...but imo there Is no excuse for this offense. Its downright embarrassing. And it's the whole offense not just Allen. To your question...it was nice to break the drought and I'd still take it. I like McDermott but this offense is a joke. Sorry kinda venting. Just sick of the same old Bill's that cant get a pass game going to save their lives.
