  1. Adding to your Campbell and Kuechly comment, I saw this D&C article. Didn't realize he is also close with Ike and AJE. More connections than I realized. More pieces to the puzzle. ๐Ÿ˜ https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2023/04/10/buffalo-bills-draft-prospects-can-jack-campbell-fill-a-need-at-linebacker/70089980007/
  2. I'll throw Jarrick Bernard-Converse as a late round CB, even possibly a PUDFA in here. Although he is listed as a CB, he can also play Saftey (which is where I would probably slot him in) as well as special teams.
  3. He's only a 1st rnd pick because of a week class. It's not because he is special in any way. Lacks speed, poor size, can't block, So he can run a route as long as nobody presses him. He's a slot receiver, not a wr1 or wr1b. We haven't seen what Shakir can do yet and he's bigger, faster and already has a year under his belt. It's not clear Gabe is not here in 24'. That's your opinion. I'll wait until this season plays out first. I do like Campbell. I believe taking him with our first pick would be a much better choice and use of limited resources. There are several WRs after the 1st round that will be available and can be a wr2. There are less options for a good MLB after the top 3 and by what I've seen mock wise and rankings, all 3 will be gone before our 2nd pick. MLB right now is much weaker spot on the team than our wr group. Josh is a great qb and can elevate a wr's play. Josh doesn't have to have a 1st rnd wr to have success.
  4. No, did you not read my first paragraph!? His poor RAS is just another part of why my opinion is obviously different than yours.
  5. I'm not arguing he is or isn't a 1st rnd pick. I just donโ€™t believe he is the right wr for us and would be a poor choice given our needs and draft position. Drafting a MLB would make more sense than a wr that, imo, is no better than what we already have. Does anything in Addisonโ€™s RAS score give you a warm and fuzzy feeling? Not me. Small and slow. I'll pass thank you.
  6. If the first brick you lay is off, every one after it will be as well.๐Ÿ˜‰
  7. I thought of that as well. Just wasn't sure if some new what spackle was.๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. I like this. Campbell of course, he's my "Draft Crush" as some would say. Mauch, you can play him anywhere on the OL and will play until he passes out. Not many as versatile as he is. Would be a very good choice given what we currently have on the roster.๐Ÿ‘
  9. Some paint Primers changes colors when they dry. Can be exciting. ๐Ÿ˜
  10. And, how have our DP been lately?๐Ÿ˜‰ Change may be good and time to shake things up a bit. Freak everyone out and go against the grain. ๐Ÿ˜
  11. So, some thoughts (opinions). This year the wr group is far from good/great. Couple guys maybe 1/1b's. Johnson and maybe JSN and if one of them fell for some reason and were within reach, maybe I could see the Bills go wr with our 1st pick. I started reading a little bit on next years wr class and it looks better than this years group (so far). I think they wait and get a 1/1b until next year. This year, I think they look for a wr2/3 that has the potential to push Davis and give real competition for the wr2 spot and maybe some negotiating leverage, but a primary outside wr. We have Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Harty and Sherfield already and I believe they will add another (at least 2) via the draft, cuts or udfa. Saftey spots have basically already been filled and have options in house. CB spots are basically already spoken for. QB, RB spots filled. OL has been improved from what we had last year, but still plenty of room for more improvements. So, imo, this leaves LB, OL, TE2, WR2/3 and DL as the week/weaker areas that this draft seems to have decent options available near our draft position. Even with a couple of small moves either way. So, LB as our 1st pick as I don't think the options are there after the top 3 (Campbell, Simpson and Sanders) to improve on what we currently have. There, I have spoken! ๐Ÿ˜
  12. Maybe, but still the 1st pick.๐Ÿ˜‰
  13. I think it will be LB or OL. ๐Ÿ˜
  14. Again thank You. With that being said, where does the cutoff begin for a 5th year option on value? Is it worth trading down 5-10 spots or is the 5th yr option better?
  15. Thank You. So, far from a "reach" if the Bills took him at 27 based on your board and a realistic option based upon our needs in your opinion?
  16. Yes I do. No Smurfs. ๐Ÿ˜œ I never said Gabe was the answer, but I do believe he will be better this year than last year.
  17. I'd rather have primary outside receiver and use Diggs as the chess piece. ๐Ÿ˜
  18. GB, if you have Simpson in the top 16, where do you have Sanders and Campbell ranked?
  19. I'd take Harrison.๐Ÿ˜
  20. Personally, I think they already resolved that issue signing Von. Had we had Von and White at the time, I don't think that game has the same results. I also think if we didn't have all of the issues and injuries last year that we did, the season wouldn't have ended the same way. JMO.
  21. Small trade back in the 3rd. 91 for 99, 155 and 247 with the Niners.
  22. Throw in some Rice (Rashee) and we got a meal.๐Ÿ˜
  23. I'm on the hill as well. Not as lonely as I thought it would be. ๐Ÿ˜
