  1. Great pull Lovemesomebills. Everyone commenting on Mayfields phenomenal accuracy in preseason, please amend your posts to read “but Allen is even more accurate”. Thank you
  2. Healing a Broken Collarbone Clavicle fractures should heal completely within 12 weeks, but the pain usually subsides within a few weeks. Often patients are back to full activities before 12 weeks has passed, especially with younger patients. Immobilization is seldom needed beyond a few weeks and at that point, light activity and gentle motion can usually begin. As a general guide to return to activities, nothing should cause worsening pain. If not wearing a sling causes pain, wear a sling. If driving hurts the fracture site, don't drive. If throwing a ball hurts, don't throw. Once an activity doesn't cause significant pain, a gradual return can be attempted. Recovery is usually complete, with a full return expected. Patients may notice a persistent bump where the fracture was (often for months or longer), but this should not be bothersome. https://www.verywellhealth.com/broken-collarbone-2548514
  3. This is spot on. Shaq played well last game and if he's solid again tonight I think we will all be a little less concerned. Having said that, it would be nice to see what Murphy can bring.
  4. Truth be told, above is one of the main reasons I come here.
  5. Holy hell Magnetar, give it a break. We got it, you don’t like Josh Allen, McDermott, or Beane. You’ve achieved nagging girlfriend status.
  6. Call me blind, but a few posters are saying he "bailed the pocket". Not true at all - he either stood tall, stepped up, or fled the pocket because pressure was actually coming. Watch the entire series of his throws and point to an instance where he bailed the pocket (maybe I missed one). Quite the opposite, if you focus solely on his movement in the pocket he did very well, the only real gaffe being his run backwards and almost throwing a pick. Also - for the media fawning Mayfield over Allen, watch all of Allen's throws and then watch all of Mayfield's throws last night. I think you'll be impressed with Allen (not knocking Mayfield). Mayfield had some head scratching throws in the same manner of "what was that". Overall though, I'd say Allen had a few more WOW throws and tougher throws than Mayfield. Going to be fun watching these rookie QB's.
  7. Yeah, there’s noooo way McDermott is tripping a player running down the sideline though. To each his own.
  8. My friend - never ever forget The Process. The Process is constant and that is what will lead us to the promised land.
  9. Excerpt from July 31 article https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/5-browns-who-have-shined-through-5-days-of-training-camp WR Corey Coleman: Toward the end of offseason workouts, first-year offensive coordinator Todd Haley said this season would be something of a “make or break” campaign for the third-year receiver. So far, those words seem to have lit a fire under Coleman, the 15th-overall pick in 2016 who has yet to live up to those lofty expectations because of injuries and other dynamics. Over the past few days — notably in Sunday and Monday’s practices — the former Baylor star has flashed the talent that made him one of college football’s most explosive receivers. While time will tell if that translates to the regular season, it’s been a promising showing. “I think that his confidence is growing,” head coach Hue Jackson said. “Corey is a confident player anyway. This is Year 3 and the fifth day in this, and he just kind of understands that you have to grind through it. He’s done that. I’ve been really impressed. He’s come out every day, been a little sore but has fought through it and went out and made plays.”
  10. What the hell - Look at his lack of accuracy, he's about to sign the top of the contract instead of the signature block at the bottom!
  11. Great post. I’d add that neither Jerry nor Bucky were news reporters. Once you add your opinion, you become a columnist. At that point, it’s entertainment for people. If people don’t like you or your opinion, they stop reading. If enough people dislike you, you’re out of a job. Same thing happens with $hitty actors, $hitty plays, and it’s why CNN and Fox have become so polarizing. Jerry and Gleason didn’t have enough sense to realize that most folks in Buffalo didn’t like to continually read their bashing of the teams we love. They stopped reading them and they are out of jobs (this combined with the BN tank of course).
  12. Still could go down as a legendary draft. Lots of time to see what these gents can do. Having said that, if Allen isn’t “the” QB within the next three years, I’m not sure what the draft class would have to do in order for it to be called a success. I wonder what it would take?
  13. Bingo. I preferred Rosen too, but many are making it out like we passed on Peyton Manning. None of the QB’s were considered exceptional or generational. All had their flaws. We happened to take the one which almost all the prognosticators considered to have the highest ceiling. Too many on the board are forgetting that.
  14. Exactly! I was hopeful for Rosen, but we need to give Allen a chance. Has everyone forgotten that most evaluators pegged this class as just OK. Bills went with the guy who the majority of evaluators thought had the highest ceiling. Maybe the rest are Andy Dalton’s.
  15. Whoa! That was a very impressive video and made me feel a whole lot better about Rudolph (with a later pick). Agreed 100% on arm strength. Waaay overhyped by some.
