A nice OG just hit the market.
I bet Cleveland is in play. A need at RG and the Stefanski connection.

The Browns certainly are aggressive in getting weapons for Mayfield. Not big on blocking, however.
Now they've agreed with Conklin.

All overpays except for Hooper.Vaitai got $10 million a year. $14 million for Conklin is a decent deal

I'm no college football fan, but it seems to me this kid only had one solid year as a starter.
Solid? It may have been the greatest season a college QB has ever had.

I keep saying it...
The Browns are the Browns, somehow someway they will screw it all up
That team needs their own prison right outside the gate.
No, the Browns would usually turn around and sign a guy like this. I'll take a small victory in the fact that they aren't re-signing him.

As far as I read...he didn’t make the claim initially (after the game). It wasn’t until they fined him...but your point is alarming if true...Garrett didn't make the claim until he met with the NFL. He claimed he thought the meeting would be confidential. It was after it went public that he talked about it. And the whole "audio malfunction" is fishy as can be.

Kyler Murray???????????????????? Are you ***** kidding me?
Not saying he was great, but Murray had 24 TDs to Jacobs 7 (I know QB vs RB) but Murray also had 540+ yards rushing to Jacobs at 1150. Almost half from the QB position. Plus, QBs tend to get a boost just because.

So Thomas is certainly a solid option. He reminds me a bit of Jake Matthews coming out of Texas A&M. Really good run blocker, can occasionally give up the boundary in pass sets, but sound technique, good hands and a guy who I don't necessarily see as having elite potential but will likely be a long term starting tackle. Think I'd feel a little more comfortable in taking him if I was primarily running a man blocking scheme than if I was running a more zone based blocking offense but I think with a bit more refinement he could fit in either.
He sounds a lot like our current LT in Greg Robinson, except Robinson can't run block and has no technique either.

This is very true. I do think this is a promising group of tackles though.
I'd love to get Thomas at 10 in Cleveland. The last Thomas LT worked out well, and we desperately need a solid LT.

Did you know George Edwards has been the Vikings DC for a while now? We hated him, been pretty good for them.
You jinxed him! His contract won't be renewed.

I actually predict this to be the hire
McDaniels won’t like that the GM will have control of the 53 per Haslam presser today
If they consult McDaniels on the GM hire?

Apparently Browns are trying to pry Roman away from Ravens...this would be so damn interesting I can't even
They are interviewing him. Nothing yet more than that. Sounds like McDaniels/Zeigler or Stefanski/Berry at this point.

The defense has gotten much much better but the offense hasn’t been as good. Seems like every play is a Hail Mary. Rodgers is still elite but doesn’t seem like he’s making the plays he used to.
Defense.
26 TDs and 4 INTs. He's awful without McCarthy.

QB dipped his head. Ridiculous call, when the rule results in the player getting ejected for the game
It has nothing to do with the hit to the head. 1 definition of targeting is lowering the crown of the helmet to initiate contact. That's exactly what Wade did.

Seriously, why wouldn’t they schedule cupcakes? The SEC is a meat grinder. It's not any harder than the Big 10. And Bama always schedules then late in the year.

Nick Saban and Alabama has been beating the nine conference game schedule drum for the better part of a decade. Keep getting out-voted by the other SEC ADs. But please, carry on...agendas, and such.
Alabama schedules its own non conference games, and they're almost always beyond awful teams.

He is using the "he's going to come back" narrative to promote everything he is doing after football. It's free marketing. He teases something, everyone assumes it'll be him unretiring, and then he gets millions of free advertising views.

I guess if you’re a Cleveland fan and only watch Cleveland games I can understand why you believe that happens every single game.It was an increasingly late, dirty, hit. But that’s the norm for Garrett.
He got flagged for landing on top of him, not for a late hit.

I mostly agree but Trevor Siemian mostly doesn't.
The hit on Siemian happens every single game it just so happened that Siemian got his foot caught underneath of him as he fell.

the browns were out to put a hurt on the steelers and they succeeded, taking out how many players before the end of the game incident? somehow I feel that kitchens has carried over the "bounty" mentality that scumbag greg williams left there?
looking back, the bills were lucky to get out of there pretty much unscathed.
This is a load of crap. There haven't been any issues any other game. Just a string of plays. The JuJu one especially. Just sandwiched him but no one went at his head.

People keep saying it was a cheap shot. The ref standing right there didn't flag the tackle. Flags didn't go out until they were upright and fighting.

The people who voted in the poll.
Currently 46% of people think Garrett should be suspended.
Crazy.
I actually don't think that's the case. I think it's messed up because there's multiple options in the poll.

Seems Buffalo is built through free agency about the same as Cleveland at this point. Most teams are to some extent.
