I don’t give a ***** what the experts say, i’ve seen just about every game he played at Oklahoma and wanted the Bills to draft since the first game I watched. He hasn’t changed, Baker is who he is. Surround him with talent and he’ll succeed. And let’s face it, if you watched the Browns play the first few games last year the guy that was holding the team back was Taylor. They have a lot of talent (even more now) and they had it at the  beginning of last year.

I just think it's absurd to say Baker can't improve, or that he doesn't make his team and teammates better. What does Allen do that makes his teammates so much better that Mayfield can't do? Ladt I checked, an accurate QB makes your teammates better. If you know where the ball will be, and with touch, it'll make it so much easier.

Baker is light years ahead of Brees at this point in their careers. Did Brees not improve? Manning?

I think Baker is an extremely accurate QB who has had the luxury playing with a lot of talent around him. It’s odd that Jarvis Landry just had his worst season since his rookie year.  Has Baker showed any improvement from his time in college to the end of his first year? He’s been the exact same QB  the whole time.

So a QB who just broke the rookie TD record in 13.5 games, with a team that was 1-32-1 in the 2 season and change before him, hasn't changed or improved? Before the draft last year people were saying that he worked in a spread offense and had never run a pro-style system before and suddenly he does it exceptionally well but didn't improve on anything.

Clowney's TFL and pressures are very impressive. He is easily a top 10 pass rusher, if we could get him for a 2rd and a 4th I would do it in a heartbeat if his contract demands are reasonable. The Texans don't have the cap space to re-sign Clowney so they have very little leverage in a trade.

Clowney was 24th in the NFL in sacks, so he isn't close to top 10. He is still a great player, and worth a 2nd and 4th as you listed depending on his contract. Some were saying he wanted to be the highest paid defender .

He's been living off of one remarkable hit in college, and people think he's that player 24-7.

The hit wasn't even that great. 275lbs DE hitting a 160lbs RB unblocked.

He has 1286 rushing yards in 64 games........he's not a dual threat he's a 3rd down outlet guy only.  If Trent Edwards was our QB I'd be all in for Duke Johnson, we need a guy that can do it all........no thanks.

He can run the ball, and well, they just don't ask him all that much. He is better as a receiver.

Buffalo has legit leaders that are heavily respected by their teammates.

Lorax. Shady . Frank Gore. Hyde/Poyer/Tre going into year 3 together. Dimarco. Hughes

Besides Tre , we're not relying on any young guys besides Tre and Edmunds to be leaders. No divas , no outlandish personalities , no crazy media distractions.

Who does Cle have that resembles this type of leadership besides Baker.

Beckham was not liked in that locker room. He dissed his QB . Was a media ***** and nowhere near a leader or respected as a man.

Show me one report or player saying Beckham isn't liked.

As for leaders, Damarious Randall, Landry, Christian Kirksey, Joe Schobert, Joel Bitonio, JC Tretter.

Myles Garrett was voted a captain as a 2nd year player. I guarantee Mayfield will be next year.

They expect a rookie HC and two new coordinators to control these personalities? Alot of turnover,no culture,no process , JUST A COLLECTION OF TALENT.Beane and McDermott built a TEAM.

I can just see this blowing up, all the media attention , a rookie regime , this team hasn't had a winning season in years . I could totally see them implode. This isn't the NBA

This is a load of crap. Buffalo sign like 10 FA and somehow that is building a TEAM but trading for players isn't. Beckham's teammates love him. Baker's teammates love him. Hunt has never had any team issues.

If Buffalo had made these moves, no one would mention anything like what you just said. How is one team building and the other not?

    Gentleman made a great move.

Receivers don’t win you many games,if any and the Giants are obviously in rebuild mode.

People sure do fall in the media hype track. Media has made OBJ into a superstar. He’s not worth the money or draft picks Cleveland just gave.

I can see why Cleveland did it, it makes them relevant in the eyes of fans and media. Hell, I just heard they are now considered Super Bowl contenders, and that’s a huge LOL.

its not true,  but people will never believe it because they are influenced by media.

How is it not true? Potentially elite QB. Elite pass rusher(s). Elite CB. Top 5-10 oline. Elite RB. Elite WR Corp. Potentially signing an elite safety, and Damarious Randall was really good last year too. The Browns need another LB, and another CB, and depth on the lines.

It's not just the media. Dorsey has built a extremely good team.

Oof I'd love to have the Cleveland roster right now good Lord that's some fantasy football rosterbaiting.

High price to trade for him, I'd be hesitant to give up that much myself. Would have rather paid AB than give up a great player and top picks

The pick is 95, the Pats 3rd. And it looks like they are swapping Peepers for Earl Thomas. Peppers is above average. He isn't great yet.

    Yep. Sign Bell.

Trade Carr, their two late First to AZ for 1st overall

    1st overall Draft Murray

    4th overall Draft Josh Allen.

IF that trade happened, it would take 4, Carr, and probably another pick. If I'm Arizona, I consider it. I think Carr is better than Murray.

No chance Oakland gets #1 for 2 late 1sts and Carr.

Because the Steelers disclosed that 8-10 teams were inquiring about AB...meaning 8-10 teams were willing to mortgage their future on a quitter with a bad hair lip. Air go, Beane solidified our position as the cap friendliest team in the NFL and all other teams are following suit. We were laughed at for cutting Sammy, Dareus, Glenn and letting Stephanie Gilmore walk. Beane created a model that all others are now trying to replicate (including the Steelers). The info he gleened from one simple phone call will pay huge dividends and the other teams are none the wiser.

Whatever man. I think Beane has done a good job, but these "genius" scenarios that you're dreaming up in your head are insane. He called about trading for him, couldn't get it done, and he's not any smarter or dumber for it. It's just the way the NFL works sometimes.

Plus, teams don't disclose their draft wants and  needs to each other and about each other when discussing a wide receiver trade. I'm sure everybody would have been interested at the right price but most teams were eliminated right off the bat because of how much he cost.

Do whatever you feel like you need to do to convince yourself that Beane is some next-level genius and everybody else is dumb.

Sometimes the truth hurts. This whole ordeal will go down in history as the best non-signing in Bills history, not only by missing out on an arrogant diva, but based on the draft info and “team needs” Beane learned from his negotiations. Masterful

How would get learn team needs and draft info when discussing a 30 year old player trade?

I'm pretty sure at this point you are trolling.

Do you think the switch to Baker and his elevated play had anything to do with Chubb getting an honest look from opposing Ds?  We all know how well the Tyrod experiment went.  For the record, I'm looking at a guy like Hyde to get no more then 100-125 carries.  Draft a Rb you think can be a feature back, follow what Cleveland did with Chubb.  I don't want McCoy here.

It helped, but Chubb looked better all year. Dorsey finally traded Hyde so Hue was forced to play Chubb. Hyde then went to Jacksonville and basically not play.

Hyde is a decent player, but he isn't special either.

Yep, and the board geniuses know more than one of the more successful franchises over the past five years.  Let alone a head coach that can get the most out RBs.

Hyde is average. He was averaging 3 YPC in Cleveland last year. Chubb starts and goes for 5. And Hyde isn't a good receiver either.

    He's ok, but nothing special.

Or...maybe despite them having HOF QB's, AB still wanted to be the highest-paid WR and they said "no"?

Sure. That's possible. That wouldn't be him rejecting them though. I'm not sure what your arguement is.

My original comment was about Buffalo being the best fit for Brown, which is simply false. It may be what happens, but no WR is taking Allen over Rodgers or Brees.
