Raiders @ Bills - 2ND HALF GAME THREAD
78thealltimegreat replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is the best LB in football -
So is your opinion that an NfL caliber TE can’t make that catch
-
How much do you make for your nfl analysis?
-
This man makes 45 million dollars most NFL TEs would say yeh you should have had that one.
-
Uh yes it was

Jets LB fined for tripping during the OT punt return
78thealltimegreat replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
How big where the offensive pass interference barely touched him call on Diggs on the final drive and this missed tripping call in OT? Why am I not surprised that neither went against the Jets…on a Monday night…at home…on 911. I look forward to the Cowboys dismantling them in less than 24 hours. You are ruining his predisposed narrative that the Bills would have lost the game anyway. -
Even if she personally believes it she is responsible for covering the guy for the team. Have any reporter in any other town say something like that about a player and those would be quietly reassigned. Because this organization is so dysfunctional anymore I guess people just think it’s par for the course.

Is Josh a mediocre QB right now? And does it matter?
78thealltimegreat replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
These type of threads are why I absolutely fear the Bills pulling the plug on him cause people don’t realize how poor the team built around him is. He’s allowed his GM and Coach to build the defense while he has waxed over mistakes they’ve made in skill talent and oline. Be careful what you wish for cause after Josh Allen leaves this franchise it is going into the wilderness for at least 5 years. -
Singular point imo when Josh started regressing

Please show me the last contested catch that Gabe has made honestly I’m willing to overlook his bad hands if you can -

One thing I could never figure out you have a qb that loves to just air it out and play hero ball why have they never gotten a receiver who makes contested catches? I mean Steff is terrific but he’s 6 foot in Gene Simmons Kiss platform shoes he’s not the type to outleap a DB much less the others guys. -

Yeh see his December 18th performance against the Fins to clinch the division where any qb that isn’t him loses that game. The book on Josh is simple two of his three ints where because he was playing hero ball where in the past he would have scrambled for first downs he was heaving it into double coverage. Teams are simply not going to give the bills the home run throw anymore. Even if it means a safety having to play centerfield every snap. This gets Josh frustrated and he doesn’t have the kinda receivers that when he does this can make a contested catch they are little mites out there. -
You do know 13 seconds is part of this right?
-
I still say the third int which was on a 3rd and a little over 1 was because Dorsey has no confidence his line can get a 1 yard push even with a 235lb rb in Murray and a 240lb QB in Allen.
-
Lawrence played the Colts who can’t stop a cold this year. Allen played arguably the best Defense in football. Trevor was supposed to be the most qB ready prospect since Andrew Luck in addition Doug Pederson is his coach. There’s things working in Trevor’s favor that aren’t in Josh’s but Josh is a more talented football player.

No Chandlier Jones on the other side just have Knox chip him
-
Without Kelce he lost to the lions at home didn’t he
-
I’ll definitely do that as that play just seemed a little odd
-
Does Hurts need Brown and Smith or Burrow need Chase and Higgins? Or San Fran need Samuel, Kittle, and Mcaffery?
-
I don’t think Dorsey knows what to do Josh played a very good first half… had a rough second half…recovered enough to get them in field goal range to tie it. In OT Knox dropped a pass, called a draw on 2nd and 15, and then Josh threw on incompletion to Diggs. Then a Sam Martin line drive special. I agree with Kurt’s analysis these receivers don’t really make contested catches or fight for balls. Now Dorsey has admitted he didn’t want Josh running and limited his runs.

Allen designed running and scrambling…
78thealltimegreat replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
They clearly have not on his last int it was 3rd and about 1 and 1/2 Dorsey didn’t feel his line could get a 1 yard push to run to get a first down. So they put Josh in the shotgun. -
He scored 6 points against the Jags for Urban Meyer’s one of two wins before he was fired that was worse We’ll have you watched the Bills the last 5 years many times he is the team.
-
I agree Beck that patchwork oline is going to cause problems
-
Actually slightly impressed with the Vikings they could have folded after the Commander Kirk fumble. They’ve dug a hole for themselves but that division really doesn’t seem all that difficult
