Josh is one the most talented QBs in the history of the league but the book is out on him sit your safeties back and he will get frustrated and play hero ball. It’s up to him to fix it and after being called a liar by Payton Manning I think he’ll be fine. The team gets Von Miller back by the end of the month but stopping the rushing attacks seems to still be an issue. This is still a double digit win team but I’ll know more about them when Miami comes to town at the end of the month.

Cam Newton Started To Regress in Year 6

Mahomes was in his system for a year before he even set foot on the field and had a ready made playoff team. Allen started his second game because they lost 47-3 to the Ravens opening day and pretty much tore the roster apart. They are not the same deal. -
That’s what I fear Beaver some team says the Bills mismanaged this guy and trades for him and he goes lights out elsewhere then we are stuck waiting for hockey season for another 3 years while we wait for a young QB to “mature”. Justin Fields is proof also there isn’t that famous a number 1 receiver jump in a QBs 3rd year either. If not Shannahan can you imagine Sean Mcvay getting his hands on Allen as the Rams will do wacky things like that once Matt Stafford is done in a year or two.

What will happen with Josh over the next month?
78thealltimegreat replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
He literally got called a liar by Peyton Manning during the Manning cast about telling him he was going to take what the D gave him. He’ll be fine he is literally being looked at as a national embarrassment right now as he literally single handedly lost them the game. He’ll settle down and within a month be throwing for 350 yards and 3 TDs against the fins -

I think Daniel Jones had two turnovers including a pick 6 -
Josh is going to get Ken Dorsey fired if it’s true the throws were there and he just looked them off that’s on him. But what I do fear most of all is a team like the 49ers trading for him in a year or two if the Bills decide to pull the plug and letting a staff with Griese and Shannahan telling him do this and the 49ers forming an 80s dynasty and the Bills rebuilding with another rookie QB and going into the wilderness for the next few years.

Daboll is a terrible coach he just lost 40-0 at home with a qb making more money than Allen. Allen’s problem is he thinks he needs to play hero ball all the freaking time -

Wouldn’t this have shown up before he he’s had 177 touchdowns? -

I rewatched the game as well and I really can forgive Josh for the arm punt first int and the botched snap. The first INT he launched and it looks like it was simply a miscommunication on the route as he threw it to the middle and 11 cut up the sidelines The second one on 2-12 was unbelievable Whitehead just stood there like he was fair catching a punt sure Williams pressured him a bit but it was terrible The third one I don’t know was a route he was going to Gabe and Gabe either cut it wrong like Troy said or Josh made a bad throw either way throw shouldn’t have been made and it should have a been a run as it was maybe 3 and 1 1/2 that was Dorsey for having no confidence the line can get a push. The botched snap was just a ball that Josh didn’t catch that happens in shotgun from time to time. With all that being said he was magnificent most of the first half and the final drive to get to overtime and even in overtime as Dawson Knox honestly dropped an easy one on first down. Josh is an amazing player that gets brain farts from time to time. To be honest when he started getting happy feet in the second half they should have had him use his legs a little more to get into a rhythm. These things are definitely correctable but it’s on Josh and Dorsey to fix them. On Sunday I am for sure going to keep an eye on Jets Cowboys. Cause Dak Prescott won last Sunday 40-0 having to do nothing. The Jets D will force him to make him plays. -

Cincy I love Josh I can forgive the botched snap and essentially the arm punt misplay on his first int. Those other two man they were rough as the second one was just a fair catch by whitehead and Josh never saw him. He’s just gotta clean it up since outside Diggs it doesn’t look like he has a WR who can break a tackle. -
Josh has lost confidence… reasons why.

What’s amazing is till his second int which was unforgivable he had 4 incompletions against the Jets D who will do that to many QBs. He is an incredible QB but he has something mechanically in his head to take risks when he doesn’t have to. -

Would you be open to trading him and taking a chance on a rookie qb and realizing you won’t see anything for another 4 years or so? Well the defense did give up the most first downs in years in a playoff game with 30 -

Do you know who is second Patrick Mahomes and who is third Dak Prescott and who is 4th Matthew Stafford. -
They were 13 seconds from the AFC title game two years ago of course there was window. You may hate Allen but he’s pretty much single handedly the reason they had a window to begin with. And of course he’s fixable his mistakes were looking for deepshofs down the field and a bobble snap. Until his pick second pick to whitehead he had 4 incompletions the entire game. The one of 3rd and 2 was awful but it also shows that Dorsey has absolutely no confidence the line can get a 2 yard push to pickup a first down.

What I fear more than anything is the Bills pulling the chord on the guy and opening him up for trade and some real offensive guru gets a hold of him and wins a Super Bowl and we are left back at square one with a new regime. Every offensive coach in the league right now is thinking just let me work with this guy. -
I think we all are in disbelief after what we watched like did that just happen?
