  1. “No gloves” O’leary Is a living f*cking legend!! Perhaps more of an all around #1 than KB! lololololololol
  2. I read an article a few days ago about how during the first 6 quarters of the season, the Bills were on track to demolish a record for worst defense ever. And then the article went on to say that we were statistically best or 2nd best in almost every category. I honestly forgot just how good, but when I leave work I’ll try to post what I can find
  3. Can we please finally knock it off with these kind of jokes?!? Read the title, it’s a Kelvin Benja.......Robert Foster thread!! LOL
  4. In no particular order Bell Shady Hunt Gurley ——————————- The rest
  5. Ok, I totally understand what you’re saying as in differentiating between what “must” happen and what will be permitted. With all of the detail they went into, as far as deciding whether or not players stand, down to which hand the helmet is held in, I still feel it may be more than just a suggestion, but there are no defined repercussions so maybe not. Thanks, I appreciate the clarification
  6. Thank you for the response. I had had no idea it got down to the nitty gritty with what songs can be played and all that! And while I agree the manual obviously states “should”, It appears to have been left open for interpretation. In certain instances, “should” and “must” are interchangeable. In this case, I interpret “should” as a rule. As in, one “should” look both ways before crossing a road. Simply put, in this instance “you should look” replaces “if you want to live, you MUST look both way on a busy road!” The manual says the players “should” do something to stay within the guidelines, it unfortunately doesn’t say what the repercussions would be if they don’t adhere to them. I posted my last post before I got to read your newest one. My apologies. Althought they aren’t rules, you mentioned they were designed to be uniform and so teams don’t go rogue. Isn’t that exactly what happened though? edit. I think I quoted myself accidentally lol
  7. In order for a rule or “suggestion” to actually get into the official rule book and operations manual, wouldn’t they have already been cleared by the players?? If that is the case, which it might not be, then the players would have already agreed to this “suggestion” and would therefore need to follow this “suggestion”, right?
  8. If you have any knowledge of the cba, rule book, and the operations manual, can you answer the question I had for the other guy? I honestly don’t know. Thanks
  9. I’m actually a little confused honestly. Even though the nfl rule book and the operations manual, according to an nfl representative, govern the nfl, the cba is actually the only way to determine a rule or what’s punishable or not? Isn’t that what the books are for in the first place. Wouldn’t that have been cleared by the players association before anything gets put into said books???
  10. According to stay within policy a.k.a. “The rules” a player should be standing at attention with a helmet in his hand.
  11. The game operations manual clearly says in order to stay within policy, a player should be standing on the sideline with a helmet in their left hand during the anthem. That is a guideline every team follows. What i I quoted earlier was directly from a representative of the NFL. It is a rule
  12. The employer certainly does have a policy against kneeling. NFL games are governed by multiple codes of conduct. One is the NFL rulebook; another is the NFL game operations manual. The rulebook is concerned with in-game actions by players and coaches (like scoring, penalties, challenges and so on), whereas the game-operations manual dictates how NFL games should be run in the bigger-picture organizational sense. The NFL rulebook makes no mention of the national anthem. But the game operations manual does. Here’s what the game operations manual says regarding the national anthem, according to an NFL spokesperson: i may may have borrowed that part from a sports illustrated article.
  13. Gilmore “retired” on a bunch of plays when he was a Bill!!
  14. I’m afraid it goes higher than that my friend. This should be a shot at society in general. Even if, as you say, a lesser quality player was accused, he does not have the right to be innocent until proven guilty anymore. Not just a problem with football. Just a big problem and a mob mentality. If you don’t agree with being innocent until proven guilty, I’m willing to listen to your reasoning, but chances are, you’d be wrong. This fantasy land that you speak of, is called America.
  15. Innocent until proven guilty. Innocent until proven guilty. Innocent until proven guilty. In other news, I heard from a very reliable source that Tom Brady raped a dolphin the last time he was in Miami! Off with his head!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously though, off with his head!!!!!
  16. I was at that game! He was a idiot then two!
  17. He’s too damn slow and “Shaq don’t make the free throws!”
  18. I’m thinking about it the same way I believe you are. Ideally, you won’t look for trash to replace trash, but our trash seems to be third stringers acting as starting caliber players. Let’s get someone else’s backups, because 2nd stringers on a good team > misplaced 3rd string trash from a team that needs them to be starters. I don’t understand the attitude either. Just an idea.
  19. Which n word would that be......neighbor? Nike? Nomenclature?
  20. There’s this idea floating around that people of color cannot be racist. Seriously, if you don’t believe me look it up. If he isn’t racist, he sure fooled me
