    Beane has been generally brutal when it comes to management of the d line, since he has got here. So many bad signings and draft picks. You are right, we went into this season with 5 vet DTs. We shouldn't be in this bad of shape because of the loss of one of them.

    We were one injury away from Josh Norman being a starting CB. We had to bring in someone, even as depth.

    Brilliant post We got an early fifth back Surtain would go for what Ramsey went for minimum. So TWO firsts and a fourth plus a contract that makes him the highest paid CB in the league. Good stuff on here as always.

    I agree I just don't think a very good, not elite CB is going to be the difference in us winning a Superbowl or not this year. Would rather trade a late round pick for a #3 depth CB in case Jackson or Benford go down. LB, DT, WR2 would have a much bigger impact this year, IMO.

    I like this move. Murray has value in pass protection but I don't want to see him touching the ball anymore. It's been painful watching him run it recently.
