  1. Having a strong arm doesn't make you a great deep ball thrower. Josh's deep ball is, at best, inconsistent .
  2. It was a solid draft. A lot of emotional reactions because people expected us to double dip at WR. That was never happening. We added a lot of young promising depth which we needed. I don't like S in Rd 2/RB in Rd 4, but can't hate on those picks too much as they were both areas of needs.
  3. If by break you mean getting fired I disagree. I think we are multiple seasons of missing the playoffs away from them being on the hot seat. Their jobs are as secure as anyone in the league.
  4. Kincaid will lead in targets for sure I think. Excited to see him in year 2.
  5. Think you can make the case for any of them. Wouldn't be surprised to see us not have a 1,000 yard receiver this year. With two TEs, 3 RBs that are good pass catchers, and no clear #1 WR, that ball is going to get spread around. I'll go with Shakir at 980 yards
  6. Beane stated very clearly in his press conference that a trade is not happening. Of course he could be lying, but I tent to believe him on this.
  7. At this point none of the guys available are going to be difference makers. This guy, Robinson, OBJ, Chark, who cares. None of them would have a big impact. Beane decided when he chose not to take a second WR that we are rolling with Coleman, Shakir, Samuel and Hollins. Hamler is a small wildcard, there is some potential there if he can stay healthy. Of course they could make a trade, but if you believe Beane, there is zero chance of that happening.
  8. Very likely. Who cares? The media ate this up because it adds to the "Chiefs own the Bills" storyline. But it's a complete nothingburger. Beane took what was the best deal for the bills, which is what he should do. Can't worry about who the chiefs may or may not take.
  9. B. Solid, not spectacular. Don't have an issue with any individual pick, but as a general philosophy would like to see safety/RB taken later, CB/DE taken earlier. Would have also liked to see them take a risk and move up in Rd 2 for Mitchell, or Rd 4 for Franklin.
  10. Of course they are. I agree that we are in a mini rebuild. But I disagree with anyone that doesn't think we can win the Superbowl this year. The team that takes the field Week 1 will be significantly better than the team that just took the Superbowl champions down to the wire.
  11. I think Beane was very careful not to trade picks from next year. It seems like they are planning on next off season being when they go for it and make some bigger moves. It's disappointing, but I still think it's a team that can compete for a Superbowl this year.
  12. There are several others Pittsburgh Baltimore Denver Tennessee Carolina
