  1. I am pretty sure he is going to sign with the Lions. They have Michael Badgley who has always been up and down and Bates is smashing Balls in that stadium.
  2. I'd do a small fast guy at this point, a guy who can play inside and outside and bring some great deep speed as a WR4 here. I suppose that role is carved out for Mack Hollins or Claypool/Isabela/Hamler right now. You have two big guys and two small guys. Mecole Hardman - 5-10, 187, 4.33 forty. He's dynamic and can be used as a gadget player though he can make plays down the field. Better than Hamler and Isabella competing for that same role. He also gives you a dynamic return option. I am not sure he would be happy down the depth chart the same way he was with the NY Jets, but I think he could carve out a strong role. Scotty Miller - 5-9, 174, 4.28 forty. He is not a gadget player. He is a deep-threat type of player. He was at his best playing with Tom Brady and working the intermediate to deep areas of the field. Was Quintin Morris' teammate at Bowling Green. Jamal Agnew - 5-10, 186, 4.34 forty. Really a dynamic return guy more than anything. He was drafted as a corner and wound up making the transition to full time wide receiver. Not going to move the needle a crazy amount, but perfect for that 4 role. Anyway, that may be uninspiring to some, but I just don't see them making a huge move for a huge salary. It doesn't seem to make sense. If you really do like Hollins/Claypool/Hamler/Isabella and Shorter/Shavers it doesn't make a ton of sense to add any of these lower-level guys. Spitballing here, I could see a trade for a young guy getting pushed out like Terrance Marshall Jr. Does Indy make Alec Pierce available? A guy who hasn't been a great fit in that offense and has now been replaced with AD Mitchell. Pierce fits what the Bills have been trying to add, bigger, faster, stronger. I could see the Patriots moving Tyquan Thornton who is blocked after FA and the draft. Perhaps Chicago moves Velus Jones. Maybe Washington's Dyami Brown. Maybe Houston's John Metchie. Maybe a Danny Gray from SF. I think a trade for a young guy who hasn't really got a shot and got lost in coaching changes like Marshall and Pierce are more likely than a trade for a big expensive vet. I would love Aiyuk. I do not see it happening.
  3. I would advise everyone to hold off on buying a Cole Bishop jersey as he probably takes 8 as soon at is available.
  4. Yeah after injuries sustained I would just forfeit. Play the 2s.
  5. He’s very good obviously. I hate him because he is a whiney biotch. He replaced Brady as the bad sportsmanship complainer who cries and moans when he doesn’t get his way. What makes it worse is the refs feed into it all.
  6. His whole first-down celebration when time was of the essence was just the ultimate dumb, selfish mistake. I don't know if that represents the rest of his play and everything else about him but that was one of the most boneheaded moments in NFL history that more or less cost his team the game. Doesn't mean he doesn't deserve a second chance, so I am willing to wait and see.
  7. I will say a lot of people on this board were banging the table for Claypool in his draft year and he never made it to us in the second round.
  8. Interesting guys. Claypool...I didn't realize he was so young. Maybe there is something there. This is probably his last shot. He ran a awful, lazy, route to end that Dolphins game. That's my last memory, but he's the same age as some of the guys drafted this year. So who knows? Smoot essentially replaces Shaq Lawson. He's been a good rotational player and is supposed to be a real good dude. Jones is linebacker depth. He used to be very good.
  9. Ah cool! No Yorktown, NY...Lacrosse town USA
  10. They replaced Kirk Cousins with a cheaper Kirk Cousins with a stupid haircut. This makes me chuckle.
  11. It is cool that they are inviting all these UB guys. Once-in-a-lifetime experience and you go home with some swag. And sometimes you find a Cam Lewis or J'Marcus Ingram.
  12. I think this is part of what goes into the reset as well. With all the new blood and fresh young leaders, they can't lose the team. The other group was getting very stale. This reset changes the attitude in the room. So unless Josh turns on them, they will be here. I am not implying they reset the roster to buy themselves time. I am just saying the reset was badly needed and means they will be safe for at least 2 years 100%, unless they go 5-12 with a fully healthy team.
  13. Alright so if Josh loves talking draft what's his burner account here?
  14. Agreed. Van Pran is not competitng with McGovern who will be in the starting 5 no matter what. Van Pran is competing with David Edwards/Collins. I would not slee on Edwards. Van Pran would have to look so good in there that they move McGovern back to LG. It’s all about playing the best 5.
  15. When most of the league is going small it does make sense to go big. All these tiny DBs and 220 lb linebackers could be in some trouble.
  16. The Pats never did. We seem to get the shaft with that kind of stuff. Keon is some dominating physically that I feel he will get called for some of those just because it looks so violent. I love how he manhandles DBs. It just seems like media and refs have it out for us!
  17. He's going to get called for OPI a lot because he is big. Same way Josh barely gets roughing calls because he is big.
  18. I don't have a problem with Dupree, but an extremely short-armed edge guy is really not their style. Carl Lawson is also a t-rex guy. Ogbah is the best scheme fit for what they like IMO if you want an edge player.
  19. I wonder if that is how he bagged Hailee too. Smooth operator that Josh Allen.
