Yeah when the other team's offense is essentially a 5 minute timeout between Rodgers and the defense, Rodger should expect to do more, near picks, Allison drops. Our defense played fantastic but I don't think Rodgers is giving disrespect.. just knows they have to score more points with so much TOP in a game against any opponent. We were a pick 6 and maybe one good Allen drive from tying it up. Game wasn't really over until 5/6 minutes left. Rodgers can't have his foot off the gas he knows it.

I can live with the Star signing (he's performing.. wish we threw all FA money on OFFENSE if we were going to go all defense in the draft with D fully intact from last year and a wrecked offensive personnell?!) But I agree the sentiment. Why seek out players from 1 organization with 2014 blinders on. Yes geniuses Panthers thought they were good too WHEN YOU WORKED THERE. Think overall the FO has drafted well, garbage dived for talent well, but stuff like this.. the Peterman hangups, the feeling they're okay with mortgaging a season away by ignoring offensive side of the ball.. just holds us back. Little hiccups that are unnecessary and get us to where we want to be much slower. I think they're doing alright just making rookie GM ****ups occasionally really. It ain't okay to tank, I know McD knows that, hope Beane is on the same page but he really seemed fine with mailing it in on offense with his personell choices.

True, tho Josh did throw a really bad/slow screen or 2 IIRC it wasn't really working with him when called either. They didn't run it often tho

Pettine cleaned our clock. Underrated DC IMO, he gets more out of less for those 3-4 defenses lacking depth.
