  1. It seems like you are neglecting the catalyst for why this hapens so often in sports. The team that is down is usually altering their gameplan in real time. The defense knows this or anticipates this.
  2. The 1 seed is attainable. I think KC will lose 2 of 3. But can we sweep?
  3. That was just the organization leaning on the media to try and help them flip Elam for a washing machine and a 2034 7th rd pick. I kid.
  4. At least you admit you don't trust his coaching. I have had my own doubts about the Defense as a whole just like most fans. But my concerns are to be voiced in the offseason as they deal with personnel/scheme/philosophy. To just blindly assume your guys (elam, bishop) are better or give us a better chance because you say so is asinine. I trust the coach to make personnel decisions, ESPECIALLY in regards to the secondary. Check. Your. Ego, Coach.
  5. I think you and others have it backwards and are blaming a coaching staff for a player's inability to rise above multiple players over years. Or you think he has more skill/ceiling due to flashes or draft position. Forget that. As others pointed out, we will play the best players. And yes, part of that involves scheme and consistency. You gotta really thread a fine needle by praising the coaching staff in regards to the secondary and saying there is trust. And then continuously question them. There is of course a time for debate and discourse. I just think this is one of those times, a specific kind of fan should check their ego/hubris and just shut up about Elam.
  6. Some need to make up their minds. Do you trust McD and Co. in regards to the secondary? Or do you not? Seen multiple people say one thing and then proceed to still not trust them by adding their Elam comment. My take? If there is a process to trust, it is the mother-efing secondary evaluations. If they think Elam is the best option to start, he will start. If he isn't the best option in their opinion, he doesn't. Why make it more complex or conspiratorial?
  7. A. You dont qb sneak there. B. If you are, get in your normal formation (3 people behind him like how we scored). C. You didnt need to call timeout. Spiking it or calling another play ASAP is far greater than killing your chances by using timeout. Huge huge huge huge mistake(s)
  8. I was about to respond saying in my tony romo voice, "I don'tttt knowww, Jim.. I can see Tenn putting up a fight" as Houston scored on their first play after a long KR haha
  9. Doesnt mean I like that narrative B.S. drives the conversation and the betting odds. But Tomlin went against his assistants in naming Wilson the starter. And obviously a great record. Thats it.
  10. This award, like many, comes down to narrative. And it's week-to-week, like everything else in the NFL. And right now, Mike Tomlin easily has the best narrative.
  11. Yeah but whats the exchange rate with Stanley nickels??
  12. Oh I seek out his opinions and clips for the reasons you lay out. I just think the media tour and even the "girlfriend" is calculated by him and his agent/team, with eyes on head coaching in 2025. Doesnt even need to be a fake "girlfriend". Win win for him. A cleansing of the image is basically what it feels like. But he is still a tool who cheated and crossed and blurred the lines. And I for one am glad that it seems (from his own comments) that McD is not that type of coach. I prefer my coaches with principles rather than, "win at all costs", which not only permeates in the NFL, but has crept into all walks of society. I know many Bills fans do not agree. Tangent done.
  13. Being all over the NFL media landscape (podcasts, mannings show, etc). The much younger "girlfriend". All of it purposeful (with some perks im sure). He wants to appear youthful and visible for future gigs
  14. Never been more confident that we are gonna beat them. 34-24 bills
  15. My dad would keep that in the fridge, probably still does. It had to have been strategic. And often expired.
  16. That looks to be the toughest opponent on either teams remaining schedule, for sure. (Not counting the game between the bills and chiefs)
  17. I agree with almost everything said except I think their remaining schedule is about equal to ours, in terms of difficulty. I also think people are overrating the difficulty of our remaining schedule. SF is not what we thought they were. And I feel too many are giving LAR undue credit based on their past success. Yes the pedigree of some still scares me, but their records are their records at this point.
  18. Chris Long just called him Beasley on steroids haha ~3 min mark
  19. Tom Brady on the call for this one? Might finally need to figure out how to time the radio broadcast to the TV
  20. Speaking only about picture quality: The picture quality of football games on Prime is the best, imo.. HDR quality on a 4k TV. but there are other broadcasts/feeds where my older SD tv shows the picture better. This is also true for almost all Sabres games for me too. Standard definition is superior. Sometimes when watching via Apple TV box, it definitely does some digital hocus pocus (upscaling) that can cause the football to not be clear (or flicker) and that is annoying as well. Noticed this on other apps as well.
  21. We should try scoring on 5 straight touchdowns again. Might help stopping the run.
  22. I thought they were going to put a stop to the forward motion some of these guys (looking at you, 49ers WR's) subtley make before the snap when they are in motion. Not even talking about the one where the RB leaves early. But when a WR is motioning pre-snap. I was disappointed as I thought enforecement of this rule would have a detrimental effect on teams like Miami and SF
