I always said I wanted my coach to be Belichek-esque in the sense of leaving no stone unturned for strategy and the example I always used was him wanting a left footed punter at one point for the slightest of (perceived) advantage. So I approve of this, said Captain Obvious.

I interpreted it as him intentionally being wishy-washy. But I'm not 100% on that, given others interpretations that do also seem plausible. But my first instinct was that this was something to worry a little about.

I definitely wouldn't call myself a fan, but I was entertained, as far as A.M. radio goes. It's been years since I listened. His radio show partially lined up with my lunch break at the job I worked at the time.

Ever call into the Jim Rome show for the first and only time when the bills are playing the Ravens and Rex Ryan is your coach and you are shocked you are put right through by the call screener and you proceed to nervously get through a verse of your prepared Raven/Edgar Allan Poe parodied poem before that music, "I don't like that call. Not a very good call" hits and Jim steps in, "Edgar. Allan. Ran. You got ran. I asked for a call, not a poem" ?? Yeah, me either.
