    Idk man I think we seriously have to upgrade the talent in the back end as I think the secondary has been our Achilles heel just as much as anything else in the playoffs. The DB whisperer crap is an urban legend.

    I'm loving every minute of that if we land a DE and DT like Bobby Brown in free agency. A huge trade wouldn't be necessary if we could land someone like Sweat. Our draft plans will be a whole lot clearer in about two weeks.

    This is information that should be posted at all times....just because a guy is 330 340 doesn't mean he can stop the run. It's the Jordan Phillips misconception....the guy made a few splash plays because he freelanced but he was a horrible run defender.

    Compensation is definitely the key here as well. For me, a second, a 4th, and Curtis Samuel is my offer. If I had to budge slightly, I change the 4th to a 3rd in 2026.

    You can still sign 2 solid starting players on defense even with adding Metcalf, I promise you. Then there's the draft. Not a complete overhaul but definitely significant improvement.
