I think after rummaging through all this draft stuff that is probably the best approach if we can make it happen. π -

I concur. We may just have to roll with the band aid that is Joey Bosa/Epinesa on one side for this year. Everybody wants DE,DT,CB,WR.... We realistically got to come to grips with even if we draft all four of those two of them are going to be projects at best -

I believe there are about 6 who could start this year easily. I think only 2 of the 6 will realistically be available at 30 though. Amos or Hairston would be the 2 most likely to be available. Revel would also start if he is fully recovered. Hunter, Barron, and Johnson are all likely gone. -
I would absolutely love it but we'd have to have a plan to trade Cook the second Henderson was drafted.

No such thing as a sure thing when it comes to the draft, but I feel the eyes are a lot higher in the top of the second round then the bottom when it comes to defensive tackle or cornerback. Later in the round I think you could still get a defensive end or wide receiver who just needs a little bit more polishing than normal but still has decent upside. I have a feeling defensive tackle and cornerback are going to fly off the shelves like hotcakes this draft. After the Eagles performance in the super bowl you're going to see copycat League in full effect this draft when it comes to defensive tackle. -

No no not sacrificing a second. Using one of our fourths maybe a fifth and even a 4th or 5th next year to move up higher with one of the seconds in the round to ensure you get a guy who can make a difference. I think we almost have to do this to guarantee we get the leftover position we don't go in the first round such as corner or defensive tackle to get a guy who can come in and help this year. Once again you can only expect to get lucky in those mid rounds every few years or so. I'm not saying it can't happen, but you can't count on it either. For every Milano or Christian benford there's a four year gap or so before finding someone like that in the mid rounds again. -

While I agree it's going to be nearly impossible to nail all them positions where they completely solve the problem. Here's to hoping and dreaming though lol -

That's the facts Jack!!! Even if it means moving up with one of the second round picks in order to do so. -

Yowzers! Those guys from Texas though are the definition of pampered. The definition of entitled. -
Bro, find me one of those guys and I have no problem paying him. Cook is not in that class. Can't pass block and is a very inconsistent receiver. He has breakaway speed though and his toughness running between the tackles has improved tremendously.

I didn't.

Phenomenal write up bro, and classic Beane pick where he takes a position just to take that position π
-
Never liked the pick. Felt like he wasn't either a 3 or 1tech. Literally just a guy.
-
πI wish. I think the best we could honestly hope for would be a second round swap with either the Raiders or Dallas and then one their 4th rounders, maaaaybe their 3rd.

Absolutely love it π

Benford Extended 4 Years - 76 million

That's what gets me to agree to a 1st round pick right there. I'm only taking a 1tech in the 1st round if he can collapse the pocket consistently as well. A guy like that could really transform our defense. -
Where's the beef!!! Well, you just provided it lol. I'm thinking Collins could go in the top half of the round though. I'm getting a vibe that there is going to be a fierce run on DTs this draft because of the Eagles performance. #CopyCatLeague

If we stay pat. I'm actually 100% on board with your plan. I think we need to move up to ensure we get a second guy that can help this year for sure. What I'm saying is the positions we need are gonna fly off the board quick. What we need are the deepest positions in the draft and every team knows this and wants them too. Pick 62 and after are gonna be much lower odds to help our most needed spots.
-
Well it's a double actually triple edge sword almost. Whatever position we grab first we risk losing two positions of need in the second round. At least guys who could help this year. jmo
-
I don't either but with where we are picking in round 2 I don't think we'll end up with anyone very impactful this year. jmo gotta find a way to move up with one of the picks somehow someway.

Look we're all scarred from the Elam pick but the dude needs to learn to live life again π
