    You can still sign 2 solid starting players on defense even with adding Metcalf, I promise you. Then there's the draft. Not a complete overhaul but definitely significant improvement.

    You said it all man. Metcalf would enhance the entire offense and we could very easily still upgrade 3 to 4 positions on defense between free agency and the draft.

    So I agree except that Josh needs one more receiver, preferably one with speed of course. But as for the defense, that is going to need a joint effort of both draft and free agency. At least two free agents will need to be absolute solid starters. Throw in either the big trade or nail the first 3 draft picks, that is what absolutely has to happen.

    Davidson has serious receiving potential as well. Possible enough potential that the wheelin n dealin could include Kincaid or Knox. Morris would then be invited back around vet minimum. Off-season thoughts and wonders at work 😂😆🤣

    Seattle is just seeing if someone will give up something stupid for Metcalf. They are hoping for a 1st round pick. I'm sorry but in no way am I going up a 1st in any form. Maybe a 2nd this year and a 3rd next. That probably doesn't get it done and I am fine with that.

    They might have been one publication that had Basham as a second rounder but most had him somewhere in the fourth .

    I remain firm on my dark horse theory that Williams could be a sneaky replacement for Bernard should the Bills not retain him. Of course certain "Milano" things need to happen for this to transpire as well.

    No matter what your opinion is though you're not going to sign a game wrecking defensive end to a fresh contract at 24M. The cap just went up in 30 million is the starting point for these guys.

    That game left a bad taste in my mouth as well so I'm pretty much right where you are and this issue. Greg got his ass kicked on quite a few plays. Without knowing if there was an injury issue or something going on I'm totally up in the air on whether to keep or let him go.
