    I'm cool with that. Look, the Bills are not going to be able to fill every need, they're just not. So at least get the most talented at some of those positions. Beane tends to try and get them all and ends up with next tier JAGs most of the time because of it.

    I get your angle, but you can't count on getting lucky like that every draft. For every Benford and Milano, there is about a four year gap before lightning strikes again.

    Hopefully he signs Gilmore to a 1 year deal after the draft to hold the fort til next year. I would be ok with that. The consensus of need is CB, DT, DE, and WR. The hard truth is we're going to miss out on at least one of them in the draft. Sure we me may draft that position, but it'll be a 3rd tier guy at best.

    Williams or Collins are both second rounders and Walker is a fourth or fifth rounder.

    I'm totally good with doing it as well. Dark horse pic in case the defensive tackles come off the board like hot cakes would obviously be wide receiver or defensive end. I don't want to be left with the scraps with both of them second round picks.

    Honestly if we go corner first I think we're going to have to move up 10 to 15 spots in round two to ensure one of those first or second tier 1techs. Williams and Collins will both be gone well before pick 56 imo.

    I mostly agree. I fully agree if someone gave up a 2nd round draft pick for Cook as we would really be armed for the draft.

    He's going 2nd round holmes If there is a huge run on defensive lineman and only a few corners have gone and the Bills have a shot at their ",true" favorite CB, I could get on board with this.

    All this talk just reaffirms we need another CB before the draft. Samuel would be ideal if his stingers check out but Gilmore on a one year deal would absolutely do the trick as well. They would probably have to restructure Dawkins and possibly another guy or two but it must be done.

    I concur. The roster as is means we are drafting a CB first 99.999999%.

    Not what we need. Hed be a liability vs the run and I don't know if he offers much pass rush at all.

    Me too. While I'm a big advocate of a defensive lineman at 30 I'm afraid all the corners that are second round worthy will be gone by our pair of second round picks. I stand by my urge to trade up with one of the second rounders.

    Imo Collins is gone by the first 10 or 15 picks of the 2nd round. Exactly. Although I agree with most that the defense needs a huge overhaul, it would be nice to sneak a wide receiver in there somewhere. The thing is though to make that happen we would have overreach considerably most likely.
