After the ass whooping BB took in the playoffs last year, maybe he needs to toughen up his team.

Stafford has tendinitis in elbow
ColoradoBills replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not just QB. Take a look at their entire DL backups (I checked after the Aaron Donald thread). A total of 23 career tackles split between 5 players. Rams field a great starter group, but depth is pretty poor. -
Josh Allen is the best personality in the NFL

Very insensitive of him. Makes me want my $17 back from Oishei. 🤪 -
They'll sniff out the optimism soon enough.

What are you doing? What purpose is this serving? -
Stafford has tendinitis in elbow

I am a fan of the Buffalo Bills. My hope is the Bills enter each game as healthy as possible. The health of the opponents is the concern of their fans, not mine. -
Great fake punt goes for a first down................oops.

Ed Oliver vs Aaron Donald Physical Comparison
ColoradoBills replied to Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
I quoted what Von Miller said is his presser. I agree with him. If you don't, take it up with Von. -
What I meant (and probably didn't do a good job of it) was IF the DL can disrupt the QB and stuff the run game much more than the past the LBs will be freed up more. This could change the scheme (not greatly) as to how they are used. I can see Milano and Edmunds having more impact plays is that happens.
-
I know, thus my "wondering" if it could happen. If it did, I could see a bit of a change in how the LBs/NCB play. At least that's what I would keep an eye on.

The 4 games he mentioned: 1. Season opener: Clearly the O was flat footed. Maybe a little more preseason work? 2. Colts: D gave up a season high of 41 points. 3. MNF NE: Gale force winds. A 4 point loss. 4. JAX: A comedy of errors. 3 turnovers and 12 penalties. The O didn't take JAX seriously and lost the game.

It's August 4th, not September 4th.

My anticipation of the DL being much more disruptive than we have seen in the past, I'm wondering if it eventually results in a change of scheme for the whole D. If that does happen, I wonder how long it takes Frazier to implement some changes and what those could be.

Ed Oliver vs Aaron Donald Physical Comparison
ColoradoBills replied to Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Like Von just said, Aaron is Aaron and Ed is Ed. Ed will make his own mark and no need to compare the 2. -
Von Miller and Ed Oliver are going to get this D fired up this season. It's going to start with the DL and meet back to the 2 Safeties who are always fired up. My anticipation can't be contained for the Rams game.

OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
ColoradoBills replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
See the deal is you have literally no idea of what Bills fans have suffered through with the drought and NE Dynasty. You'll get sympathy from some Bills fans when you lose twice to the Bills every year and finally make the playoffs again in 2039. 2039. Don't overreact and reply too quickly. Read carefully what I posted and let it sink in. -
Rd 2, Pick 63 (31): RB James Cook, Georgia
ColoradoBills replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh yeah. There should be a poll each week for the craziest GDT post. Last season I couldn't make it to halftime of most games. "Tweener" girls have more self-control than some of those fans. -

You'd win that bet in the 1st preseason gameday thread. -

Yep. D is still important and especially in the playoffs. Sure, you need a potent offense but come on, they can't bank on scoring constantly. One extra stop let's say by a Mahomes sack on 3rd down and the Bills go back to Orchard Park for the AFCCG. They have to get QB sacks and force quicker throws. What's funny they both were saying that last year.
-
They won't listen. If the Bills Offense can repeat last year's performance and the DL can apply some QB pressure and hold the Henry's of the league to reasonable yardage they will have the formula for a Superbowl run.
