  1. Thank God. I do have to find a pirate site to watch the game. Time to fire up the old laptop I don't care about!
  2. The way I see it, he hasn't had a lot of competition. From the little I see; Morris may be better. If Sweeney stays, I hope he learned how to block from Kromer!
  3. While there is merit in this, I do have a comment as so many fans feel this way. During the draft players are evaluated against other college players. They compete against the good and bad college players. When these UDFAs get on teams playing against other non-starters they seem to be harshly judged. I mean they at least are playing against the remaining non-drafted college elite, correct? I feel the ones that excel in this situation at least have a chance to continue while the ones that don't probably never will. That being said, I also hope Blackshear makes to PS and can continue to develop. A few of these guys can succeed.
  4. Agree, and the same is true for the other half if I'm a victim. That seems to go in regard to anything anymore.
  5. It's interviews like these that proves to me that players can be "coached up" way more than some fans would have you believe. Would love to hear more from Kromer but would also like other coaches to be interviewed by these 2. Chad Hall comes to mind. He seems to have a special knack.
  6. I only became aware of it today in this thread. It seems to be accurate. I don't understand the reasoning for it as none was given. It would be a good question for Beane/McDermott to be asked.
  7. Evidently not an option. The incident happened before he signed an NFL contract. I have already replied to this by saying the rule should be re-evaluated. But that is another story.
  8. I totally agree with your premise about the Bills offense and JA limiting his share of rushes but the anemic thing is a little off. JA led all the "rushing type" QBs last season with that average. That includes Jackson, Hurt, Mahomes and a bunch of others.
  9. It seems to me that maybe this rule should be re-evaluated. In other instances, a team can have a players go on that list and wait to see what happens in the legal proceedings, correct? In this situation it puts a lot more burden on the team to make a decision without that outlet. In a way it could force a team to make a decision before the final result is in.
  10. Agree with both your points. While I surely don't want to get involved with a lot of the "discussions" going on in this thread my main interest is the facts (as much as we can gather) and what the Bills will do. What ultimately ends up happening could take a long time and I surely don't need to be a speculator. It's a bad deal all around. As of now, as a Buffalo Bills fan I'm just saddened we are going through this.
  11. I haven't read much of this thread since last night but I did see this on the Channel 8 TV site. Not sure if it has been posted. Seems the police have a lot of stuff that they went through.
  12. Like I said, you were "ahead of your time" with your proposal.
  13. Lawyers, guns and money! I'm a little short. You got your wallet?
  14. I totally agree. It seems the other shoe dropping is the "these are athletes" and some extra considerations were given. I get the feeling this is going to have a lot of ugly heads coming out of it, some true some not.
  15. I'm going to be following this story from these threads and will be looking for new pertinent info being released. I do think as for the speculation and comments that at times will get shall I say "a little out there", I'm going to try to distance myself. Looking forward to Wawrow's update!
  16. No problem. I did delete it. No sense having other replying to my mistake. I try to be responsible for my content.
  17. I found that out and apologized. I guess I should delete my post.
  18. A bunch will be cut next week.
  19. I'm sure they will be asked and have to say something about it in the future. They could have seen that no charges were filed and talked to the University (which now seems like they may have not been forthright). The best-case scenario for OBD I guess.
  20. It seems they won't prosecute. Sorry if I butted in as I was reading the law and then seen your post. I had to read it to believe it.
  21. As weird as it sounds it's true. https://www.shouselaw.com/ca/defense/penal-code/261-5/ Minors can be charged in statutory rape cases It’s important to remember that you can be charged even if you are a minor — that is, under 18-yourself when the intercourse occurs!11 This may seem a little crazy…since in a case like this the defendant is technically also a “victim”. But it’s the law.12 Many prosecutors in California don’t make it a priority to prosecute teenagers for having sex with other teenagers. But that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.13 A case where the defendant is also a minor will probably be tried in the California juvenile court system.
  22. I have faith that the Bills organization will handle it in the best way possible for a thing like this. I really do mean that.
  23. I guess some people are getting a paywall to the article. I already apologized to any commenting for that reason.
