  1. This is why they postponed the game. Low wind, field in decent shape and the brave and hearty hometown fans in the stands. Take care of business today boys!
  2. All true, but when the kickoff happens the players know what is at stake. Guys have been playing football their whole lives. They know what is at stake and what has to be done. I feel pretty good. The fans that are there will be pumped.
  3. What's their win percentage for home playoff games?
  4. I spent 4 years in the USAF at Homestead AFB, FL. It was ground zero. So glad I was long gone when that thing hit.
  5. That's right, with the 2 Monday night games the winners of those games are playing next Sunday. The other 2 Saturday.
  6. The Bills broke the Dallas D.
  7. Got to love it. Yes pun intended.
  8. It wouldn't have. I wanted a dome at the intersection of the I-90 and I-190 right where my old high school currently is! My avatar is the JFK Bears. They could have bought out the 50 homes on Cayuga Cr Rd for $1M each! I can't embed a google map, it always says it's too big. Nothing but woods round it. Perfect site for vehicles entering and leaving. LOL, why am I doing this? Haha. https://www.google.com/maps/place/John+F.+Kennedy+Senior+High+School/@42.8769527,-78.7975185,4728m/data=!3m2!1e3!5s0x89d30c40d8ce989b:0x8d4d1796feafa5a7!4m6!3m5!1s0x89d30c413ed13bc3:0x203422987b7674e2!8m2!3d42.8761607!4d-78.7749391!16s%2Fm%2F076lgs9?entry=ttu
  9. That's fan talk. I for one am not overlooking this game. I said in another post, I believe the decision to stay and play tomorrow mainly came from OBD. The Bills want to play in OP in front of the hometown crowd. It's my current speculation and I believe that's the reason. They don't give a rat's ass about the Chiefs right now. One game at a time for them.
  10. From the Buffalo Bills fans perspective. If the shoe was on the other foot, and the Buffalo Bills fans were in the position of the Steelers, I would imagine it would be 180 degrees different. This forum would be filled with "hot take conspiracies" about how the Bills are getting screwed.
  11. Just as tough for the Steelers.
  12. Agreed. I will exit the conversation being it's not for this forum, with the wise saying, "Those who do not heed history are doomed to repeat it". I take that to heart, even in my own life.
  13. True. I agreed with you in your post for that statement. We are drifting off topic, but I have to say that you are wrong about in the sense that it was (and will always be) the largest most historic land, sea and air invasion by any army in history! While the Russians broke the Germans in the east, the allies faced some of the best Panzer and Waffen-SS troops still intact.
  14. If you are interested. https://www.nationalww2museum.org/war/articles/d-day-allies-invade-europe#:~:text=Allied leaders set June 5,the attack for 24 hours. Allied leaders set June 5, 1944, as the invasion’s D-Day. But on the morning of June 4, foul weather over the English Channel forced Eisenhower to postpone the attack for 24 hours. The delay was unnerving for soldiers, sailors, and airmen, but when meteorologists forecast a brief window of clearer weather over the channel on June 6, Eisenhower made the decision to go. It was one of the gutsiest decisions of the war.
  15. David should of listen better in US History class. Then again, most Americans don't know our history either.
  16. I doubt that very much. They could have had a voice in the "neutral site" discussion but it's a Buffalo Bills home game. I personally don't put as much "politics" into this decision as others do. I feel it was a weather event the Bills couldn't control and they desperately want to play the game in Orchard Park in front of the Buffalo area fans. This isn't some regular season game and there are a lot of season ticket holders who couldn't attend this game any other way than in Orchard Park. THEY IMO count too. My hope is the game is played tomorrow in OP and the Bills win. They stay home and host the Chiefs (in their house) next Sunday. I think that (at the time) was the plan vs neutral sites or worrying that the Divisional opponent gets some extra rest time.
  17. Rules are a minimum of 6 days. The Bills would play the Divisional Round on Monday.
  18. The Buffalo Bills organization had a big say in this too. Let's not forget that. If the Bills wanted to go to a neutral site, they could have agreed.
  19. I had to click on it twice to take.
