  1. Eagles last year were 14-3 and the Vikings were 13-4 (should have been 12-5 because you know the play) so they are 2 of 3 elite teams from last year in the NFC. This game kind of puts things into perspective with the NFL.
  2. I agree there is much more to it than my simplistic example. You added the 2nd tier to that and I'm sure there is more. If Dorsey's play calling insists that his "progression" be followed to the letter and Josh is going along with that, it's not good. If Josh is adlibbing too much, that's not good either. McDermott would have to get involved and get them to spread the ball around both in players and areas of the field.
  3. I quoted this part of your post for emphasis to comment on the bolded. What I don't know (and can't figure out how to find the answer) is this "downfield" tendency a called play by Dorsey? I don't know if that is true. In all my years of watching football I was under the belief that on a certain multi-receiver play it is foolish for the OC to pre-determine which of the receivers will ultimately get the pass. With all the defensive pre-snap high jinks and realignments, it would be hard for the OC to know the deep pass (for instance) is going to be the advantageous throw. I always assumed that is on the QB shoulders. Isn't the QB tasked with surveying the Ds alignment (both pre-snap and then again post-snap) to determine of all the possible pass routes, which receiver will have the best advantage on each particular play called? Then upon the snap he keys on one or two defenders' initial movements to confirm his choices. So you can see, while I believe that there are too many times when the deep pass(es) are looked at first, I just don't know if it's Dorsey wanting that, or both him and Josh wanting it or just Josh making the deep throws his priority. Without truly knowing what's going on behind the scenes I have a hard time pointing fingers to who or what the real problem is. McDermott is ultimately responsible for emphasizing and/or correcting any issues like this, but I have a hard time pointing the finger his way too, once again due to not knowing what is going on behind the scenes. Is McDermott asking Dorsey why all the deep throws and Dorsey replies, I don't know, I gave a play with 5 options, 2 deep, 2 intermediate and 1 short. I use this speculation as an example only. So you can see, looking at this way, I just don't know what is wrong and who needs to adjust. LOL, all I want is a couple long methodical TD drives a game. I haven't seen many of these lately.
  4. Hard to argue with this fact.
  5. I hate to admit that I don't know who is running the offense. Is it Dorsey, Josh Allen or some weird combination of the 2. Whoever it is has to realize that a good number of DCs have figured out how to neutralize the Bills O too often. I'm sure that there is enough tape on the Bills that the technique of that neutralizing is becoming well known. It seems to me that either Dorsey is not implementing a game plan that can work, or he is, and Josh and the O can't execute it, or a combination of both (which sadly I'm beginning to think is the fact). This happens all the time in the NFL. It's a constant game of cat and mouse and if you do that, we'll adjust and do this. I'm going to rewatch that horrible game and see if the Raiders are going to attempt to mimic the Jets. If they do the Bills O better know how to ADJUST.
  6. Maybe so. He and all the players on D will get a lot of blame if the O turns the ball over 4 times and scores 16 points per game.
  7. Lots of blame can be given for this loss but Bernard did not lose the game for the Buffalo Bills tonight.
  8. Maybe so. I'm disappointed in the offense on a lot of levels. This game should have easily been 30-10.
  9. To give Knox a break, it was a tough catch. Wide and nearly in the dirt. All of the 2nd half I was texting the brothers and nephews to use Knox and Kincaid more. I didn't get a chance to see if that would have worked.
  10. I have to say this. Josh is a great QB, but he does need to be handled correctly. Daboll could keep him within himself most times. Doresy is a hyperactive kind of guy. I don't know if that is a good combination. If the Bills offense is going to succeed in games like this one, they need to learn to take what the D gives them at times. This board will be crazy this week so I will take a bread from it BUT Dorsey and Josh have to get this thing controlled.
  11. I want to blame it all on Dorsey, but I can't. I don't know if Josh (on a lot of passing plays) actually delivers the ball to the 1st play called read. This offense needs to learn to consistently complete quick passes.
  12. It's all good Jokeman! But yes, he's too pumped.
  13. One play 3 points. Dorsey has to just plod forward for 7.
  14. Just checking in..............how we doing Bills fans?
  15. Just tuned into ABC. I think the Bills should just forfeit the game and save the embarrassment.
  16. While we are waiting for kickoff, we @Dunkirk Donski can enjoy Yanet's 10 best turns.
  17. Same here. I can watch on my phone, laptop and tablet but I get that "enable tracking" deal on my ROKU YouTube App. What was your old browser and what did you change it to, if I might ask?
  18. Why get your weather through Sal when Yanet Garcia is available.
