  1. Oh dear lord. No one on this board ever posted that. TT better than Peterman yes. Lets move on now
  2. Speee kills every time! Standing in the pocket. Big time throw!!! Apparently you can learn to catch!!!!
  3. Obviously you missed the stat on the difference between 2107 and 2018 Jags defense. The difference must be black and white for you
  4. Franchise QB throws on that drive. Nice design by Daboll. Keep it up kid.
  5. One of best plays of the year for Edmunds
  6. So close. Love going for the strip sack but also need to wrap up at same time
  7. I'm nervous the bad run defense shows up again. All I care about at this point is how Allen plays. Could care less about the result. They win its good; they lose and Allen plays well its good too. After Allen, the players to watch are Teller, Zay, Croom, Shaq, Dawkins, Levi, and maybe Foster. Lastly I would like to see Hughes continue his ProBowl level play.
  8. Dareus is going to destroy Bodine. McD and the Bills failed this kid. Instead of coaching him up they just bailed on a superior talent.
  9. Mammals dont use tools to inflict harm. If the child cant understand reason the child wont understand why their parent is hurting them. You cant defend this. Its child abuse. End of story.
  10. Unbelievable people in 2018 are defending this practice. How you can hit your own child is disgusting. How can you look in your child's eyes after beating them? You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You are sick and depraved. You and your ilk are not fit to be parents. You belong in prison where the inmates know exactly how to treat child abusers. AP should be kicked out of the league today. And the defenders of this POS should be kicked off this board.
  11. One change to my original list only because I thought Steve Hutchison was already in. 1. Gonzalez 2. Reed 3. Flores 4. Hutchison 5. Coryell Bailey next year. Flores and Coryell have waited too long.
  12. It's just a buzzword for Lean or Sis Sigma management systems. This was all started by Toyota and has morphed in to various forms. The underlying premise is continuous improvement in every aspect of the manufacturing process or in the performance of the organization. There is nothing special to it. There are a million books on the topic now. It is everywhere in sports but more prevalent in football because it is the ultimate team sport. You can hear it the way Saban speaks and as pointed out by multiple NFL franchises.
  13. Sorry but you are wrong about everything. The team knows what the future is. They know who is the most talented QB on the roster. They know every snap is on film and if they want a future in the NFL they have to play every snap. The future is Allen. Barkley is a journeyman QB just like Fitz. He might give you a game or two of adequate play. And that is all he did - play adequately. The Jets dropped two INTs which would have made the game decidedly different. The decision is easy. Once they moved on from TT and lost Wood/Incgonito, this season win/loss record was immaterial. It was and is all about Allen and to a lesser extent the other young players. Sit back and watch the future unfold. Allen will either play well or he won't and we won't know until the end of 2019 if he is the real deal or not.
  14. I will take a loss of a yard followed by an 11 yard run over Ivory getting 3 yards a carry any day. Shady is still playing well. He has not lost a step. He is still an elite RB. The OL was terrible at the beginning of the season and is still bottom third in the NFL. Two new players on the OL will get Shady 1000K yards again next year. No to mention Allen playing at a high level will help. Completely agree as long as he didn't have a role in his former GF getting beat up. If he did then cut him immediately.
  15. Of course they would be more competitive with TT. The defense has played terribly in some games though too. At this point in the season, my best guess is they have two more wins with an easy schedule coming up. It would end up coming down to the final week and tie breakers.
  16. Oh dear, he played one decent but not great game. Until now he has been a solid bust. 99% of the folks on this board did not want him cut and 99% thought it was too soon to declare his career a bust. Some of us listed him as a surprise cut and with the off-season craziness that was plausible even though unlikely thus the word surprising. Now let's hope he continues to play well. He doesn't and will never have elite speed or even quickness. But he has more than adequate size and if his route running is good and his hands get better the can be a solid #2.
  17. Wow the leaps people can make. Zay had an ok game. Teller has one start. Dawkins is a starter but certainly not elite LT. Edmunds has not played great but is so raw. Harrison has not played many snaps but DT is so hard to transition from college to pros. Just to be clear even people like myself that have criticized Zay never said they couldn't improve. As others have said it is all on Allen. If he is a franchise QB no one will care how much they gave up. Same for Edmunds.
  18. How does it make Beane look good? He traded away a starting DB for a WR that was not very good and a draft pick. The jury is still out on Edmunds. So far Beane's moves have mostly not worked out except Star and Bodine is at least a low level starter.
  19. With all the comp picks the fifth will be more like a 6th round talent. Hope for a developmental guy but likely will be a Tanner Vallejo type guy
  20. Miller is still up and down. He is a FA at the end of the year. Anyone bring him back? I've always liked him as a player. I think it is telling that they sat Ducasse. If Miller is brought back and Teller shows he can play the part, it is one or two holes that don't need to be filled in the off-season. Mid to low round OL that are average or above average are salary cap savers. Spend some money or a high pick on C and TE. Hell even Mills is adequate. But again he is a FA to be. At this point I probably bring back Miller over Mills. Thoughts?
  21. Overpaid for the guy but he is doing his job on most snaps. I've railed against Beane all year and still think he has made the team far worse than last year. But Star looks like a solid under the radar player that is doing what is asked of him. I don't see anything more than what Dareus was doing and in fact less inside pass rush. But it is time for me to move on. Now don't let PED Muprhy take away any snaps from Lawson.
