  1. That’s too much for Shakir.. Draft one instead, (or two).
  2. I would argue that a dominant NT could take this defense from mediocre to great.
  3. Rousseau is arguably our best player on defense and outside of Josh Allen, James Cook has been our biggest difference maker on offense.. I think you sign these two men first.. Both are apex players. My problem with Shakir is I’m seeing $19M/yr averages and I think that’s an absolutely ridiculous amount of money to pay a #3 guy. Without Josh his production falls way down. Why not take that money and sign a true #1 or even just draft one? I mean, for $10M-$12M sure! But $19M? C’mon man.
  4. Amari Cooper and Rasul Douglas are our high profile FAs this offseason, I’d argue against signing either of them.. Mack Hollins and Ty Johnson I would welcome back at the right price.. As I would Damar Hamlin and Alec Anderson.. But with $61M in cap space, I would argue that Buffalo should get an early jump on our 2026 free agent crop. I see our FAs in this order priority wise: 1.) Greg Rousseau | He’s closing in on 10 sacks and 20 TFL.. He’s probably the pick of the litter and our trusty stalwart on defense. 2.) James Cook | I am usually against signing RBs to big money but this guy is just so good and he consistently takes some of the pressure off Josh. 3.) Khalil Shakir | If we can get this guy signed to a $10M-$12M per year contract, he would be a great signing. I would not pay him big money. 4.) Connor McGovern | Why not? He won’t cost a lot and he’s good. 5.) Christian Benford | Is he a system corner? Or is he good? In a DB happy system, do we let him walk? I think if we can lockdown Rousseau, Cook and Shakir at the right price, we are in a good place going into the Draft… Who do you guys think Buffalo should target in Free Agency/Draft? Any early Draft prospects we should keep an eye out for?
  5. Rousseau is about to get paid.
  6. As a wise man once said “I’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week”
  7. I think it’s okay to cry if you lost a loved one or someone dies, but even then as a man you need to hold yourself together.
  8. He’s getting there though.. His brain is catching up with his arm.. He’s like 85% of the way there.
  9. Allen is starting to become like Brady and Manning mentally, which is the biggest compliment that I think you could give him.
  10. That’s part of the reason why I laughed so hard!
  11. How do you not see the humor in this?
  12. He likes Elvis? I like Josh even more now!
  13. Was this written by The Onion?
  14. It’s just a numbers game. By default there would be a few players who slip through any which way. Kelly, Marino, Elway could probably play today, I’m sure there’s others too.
  15. I feel like it’s a mix between Cook, Shakir, Groot and Benford.
  16. And does Stafford or Goff have great mobility? Or Brady or Manning? Kelly was 6’3 220lbs in his prime, which is ideal height with a very good arm.. Had the heart of a lion with great mental faculties. How is he not a top 10 QB at the very least?
  17. More so the moxie of Baker Mayfield and not the talent level. Kelly is a few levels ahead as far as talent goes but they both have/had that grit and swag.
  18. I love the Manning comparison. I see a bit of Baker Mayfield in him too.
  19. I think I would have him in the top 3. 1.) Josh Allen 2.) Patrick Mahomes 3.) Jim Kelly Where would you guys have Jimbo at?
  20. He’s the greatest Bill of all time, no doubt, but he has ways to go before I say that.. 1.) Allen 2.) Bruce 3.) Kelly
  21. It’s much harder to find a coach who is a savant on the offensive side of the ball, which is important to note because offense is more important in today’s NFL. You don’t really see too many shutdown defenses these days.
