Just curious, I keep hearing this. Outside of the Steelers and the Patriots. And honestly we just seen the Pats struggle with the Jets and the Steelers almost lose to the Packers. The Ravens? Chiefs? Titans? Jags? Bengals? Raiders? Chargers? The Bills are just as good (or bad) as any of these teams. I promise people hear a narrative and run with it.

I'm not saying he deserved a lifetime contract. I'm saying if you make the hire, you commit to enough time to let him put his system. Firing him after 2 years means the front office made the mistake, not the coach. If McDermott is fired after next year because we tank with a young QB it would be a bad hire as well. Give the coach 3 years to rebuild and then fire him.

True statement. Tyrod can be good and has been good in different systems. But this ain't it for him. We need a transcendent QB that will do well in any system.

I always say this. We have a strange fan base. Rex was average here and he had several challenges to overcome. I thought he should have got a 3rd year with his guys and system.

If he wins out the starting position cut/trade Tyrod. But let's actually put someone in a position to succeed. Not force someone out there who's not ready.

Yes. They're doing well. And others are doing poorly. The point is there's no promise that whoever we draft will be Goff or Wentz. And both are in better situations than our QB next year will inherit. Our fanbase is so impatient that we'd probably run him out of here if he struggles year 1 like Goff and Wentz did.

How good has Stafford or Rivers record been? He could be 10-6 or 11-5 in the right situation. He's average like you say. But our team is average and no rookie QB is going to elevate this team above that. Even Deshaun Watson was putting up great numbers but losing. Only a very small number of QBs elevate a team to that extent. I'm not in favor of mediocrity but I'd like to see the team improve before we ruin a QB by throwing him out there with a bad team ( ie Peterson)

No, there are some assumptions made of a 5th round draft pick. And it's hard to overcome those. In addition to his obvious limitations. I like Tyrod a lot. But he leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe in a better offense he would put up better numbers. But seems like he'll never really be embraced by this fan base. I'm a fan though and hopes he does well wherever he goes next year.

Marrone is a good coach. 7-4 with one of the worse QBs in the league. And they’ve got a great defense. Think he’s done well in Jacksonville. They’ll make the playoffs.

5 passing attempts in the 2nd half are why we don’t produce passing yards. I thought we took our foot off the pedal in the second half. Offense went conservative. I think it was was a great win. On the road against a good team. The Chiefs haven’t lost at home. Alex Smith struggles vs cover 2 defense and We did a great job stopping the run.

How’s Deshone Kiser looking? There are a million misses in the draft every year. We have a solid starter for now and should focus on building a team for are future an and put him in the best situation possible. But let’s win until then as much as we can
