  1. Great job getting him locked in at those terms. That contract could be a steal
  2. Yeah he really grundled the ball with that post
  3. I'd settle for another Mike Lodish or Gary Baldinger. Leif Larsen would be even better
  4. So true, even in a year like the 2011 draft. Just look at the top 6 picks: Cam Newton, Von Miller, Marcell Dareus, A.J. Green, Patrick Peterson, Julio Jones. One of those is not like the others.
  5. Maybe I misunderstood. Hopefully they will figure out something. Anyways, enough baseball talk for this forum. I really don't think the Hoecht/Ogunjobi situations, while embarrassing, take anything away from the Bills position this offseason. Relative to other contenders, the Bills have at least treaded water if not slightly improved whereas most other top teams have been a net negative so far. They have 10 picks and a great deal of flexibility in the draft. All is not lost. I honestly feel great about where the Bills are right at this moment.
  6. I guess I'm confused what you're upset about then. You said you were unhappy about the Yanks before coming on this board. And Judge is great, but losing Soto and acquiring Bellinger and Goldschmidt is not equivalent. The difference this year COULD have been pitching, but they are screwed without Cole and Gil. Cashman all but admitted as much yesterday.
  7. Take a deep breath man, at least as far as the Bills go. They will be fine. I'm a die hard Yanks fan too, and that situation is waaaaaaay more dire. Their season is effectively over before it even began.
  8. Dane has played solid when called upon. We should and need to do better before the season, but no one should have a problem with this signing
  9. I think Beane is clearly an above average GM. But he also does not deserve the "wizard" and "BBB" monikers that some people bestow on him. He is in the 8-12 range imo
  10. Not sure I'd be looking to Houston for oline help. He must be terrible to have been a backup there
  11. This is going to be a fun thread to revisit in August
  12. Codrington is better. Shenault has virtually zero chance of making the team imo
  13. He's not. Switches teams every year it seems. Dude was way overdrafted
  14. I have been on record stating Dolac is well worth at least a 5th round pick, and these results are certainly going to improve his stock. The guy can flat out ball and deserves to be drafted
  15. The comments from the tweet in the OP seem positive. Forrest apparently played well as a starter in 2022 (88 tackles, 4 picks) before falling out of favor due to scheme change after Rivera left. Still young at 25
  16. Meh he's no Eli Ankou
  17. Sure. Doesn't mean it's not a good upside gamble for the Bills
  18. I mean sure it is a gamble per se, but when you look at the Bills predicament it is impossible for me to disapprove. A one year deal for a guy with the highest upside on the market, and if it doesn't work the Bills are not hamstrung long term. If it fails we're in the same place we were before. And none of this precludes us from drafting another edge in the first 3 rounds
  19. For those who disapprove, who on the market would be better in your estimation, outside of trading for Hendrickson which is probably not even a realistic possibility?
  20. I like it. May not work because of injuries, but can't hate on a 1 year deal for a guy with his talent. It's easy to forget Bosa is only 29
  21. Gardner Johnson is inconsistent, but he did have 6 picks last year. Nothing to sneeze at
  22. If anyone can, it would be the Eagles
  23. S CJ Gardner-Johnson for G Kenyon Green straight up. Can't say I understand this one from an Eagles perspective. Green has been one of the worst offensive lineman in football
  24. I like it a lot. Palmer just makes plays period every time I've watched him. Still just 25 as well
