The sad part is this is supposed to be the fiercest rivalry in the NFL, or so I'm told. The Steelers really have fallen into deep mediocrity and they're not getting out of it any time soon. This doesn't displease me
Does it matter? At this point I think Tomlin actually wants to go with a journeyman so he can prop himself up for going .500 or better and then get his teeth kicked in during the WC
Having to go for it on 4th and 15 because you have been digging out a steep hole all game. Punted on 4th and an inch in the first half when the game was still in reach
Wilson's success was always based on his mobility and skill to move around in the pocket and buy time. This allowed him to overcome his size limitation. Not that he's lost that ability, he is a completely marginal player
Hayward seems to be the only guy on that defense who has any sense of pride. The notion that the Steelers are this hard nosed group has been fallible for a number of years now. Whenever they face a good offense they fold like a cheap suit
In a way, Baltimore coming in looking unstoppable could lessen the pressure on Buffalo next week. No one will be expecting the Bills to win, assuming we can get past the Broncos
Really? His coaching in the first half was laughably bad and is a large reason why Pittsburgh is in this hole.
No one is saying Pittsburgh is on Baltimore's level, but Tomlin hasn't even given them a chance to compete. I'm so tired of this guy getting a free pass lol
Yep. The most recent mistake being calling timeout when it was 3rd and 4 for the Ravens on the first series of downs. All he did was allow them time to get in scoring position. Baltimore was ready to slow play the clock there.
He has been absolutely brutal
