  1. I don't think it's what they intend to want permanently. Anything done these first two years under them is temporary and was always part of a rebuild process. The defnese is mostly set, we have $91 million in cap space and next year is year 3 of this regime. Next season will be put up or the start of put up or shut up
  2. Yet somehow this offense has been moving the ball a lot better ever since the first Jets game. Somehow we have 5 wins when that looks like a 2 win team. I think Beane, McDermott and Daboll deserve credit for being able to do what they have done with what they have
  3. Of course he catches it, in the closing seconds, down by 5 so even if the extra point is missed we still win
  4. Matt Paradis will be snapping the ball to Josh who will then heave a long bomb to Julio Jones or AJ Green at the goal line.
  5. Crazy to think our dline at one point consisted of Bruce Smith, Ted Washington, Pat Williams and Phil Hansen. I miss those Ted Cotrell days and having the number 1 defense in the league in 98 and 99
  6. Yes, Belichick does nothing wrong and knows everything about everything better than everyone else. Come on dude, give me a break. How do you know rules of a game that all 32 head coaches know better than other coaches. The rules are rules. You either know them or you don't. You won't be a head coach without knowing the rules of the game. So by deflating footballs which is illegal, he saw a rule no one else saw saying that it's ok to deflate footballs below league requirements? So by filming other teams hand signals and a bunch of other things which is clearly illegal, no one saw that in the rule book like he did? Dude, you sound ridiculous
  7. Most professional organization? I laugh everytime someone says that the Patriots are classy or professional. Winning a lot of titles doesn't make you classy or professional. They are one of the more arrogant franchises in sports. They have been that way since Belichick has been there. That's why I hate them so much. Not because of the amount of titles they have won. I can't tell you how many times when Belichick has lost in the playoffs and not even come out of the lockerroom to talk to a broadcaster or reporter like he did to Steve Tasker a number of times like a baby when Tasker stood there for a half hour or more to speak to him. Him and that team are sore losers when they lose. Whenever something doesn't go their way you see Belichick screaming and whining to the refs about it. Then there's the cheating thing and the way it was handled and lack of cooperation in it. Bill Belichick's press conferences where he can't even give simple answers to quesitions that every other coach answers are ridiculous and no need for it. Let's not forget about how classy Gronk was when he dove all his body weight and elbow into the back of Tre' White's head because the poor baby got interfered with. Give me a break dude. They don't deserve to go out on top. Screw them
  8. Throwing it 40 yards downfield plus another 30 yards across the field from across his body? Kind of hard to put that on him. Could it have been better? Sure I guess but how many NFL QBs actually get that ball anywhere close?
  9. I love how he constantly takes shots when the other team jumps Offside
  10. Not gonna lie, only because we are 4-9, I would like to see the Lions score here so Josh can take us down and win it for us
  11. What is up with Tre' he got beat deep long last week and he gets beat deep twice today and a holding penalty?
  12. He's a Bills QB so I would say 2020 if he is still the starter.
  13. I think a lot of it was teams wanted to go younger with up and coming bright minds since the NFL was constantly evolving
  14. Julio's contract situation, the fact that the Falcons have a bad defense that is gonna need fixing and they are gonna need as many picks as possible to rebuild the defense might make them give up Julio for picks. The Falcons are 4-9 with him and their cap situation is nowhere near as good ours is gonna be so it's not like keeping him around is gonna be helping them any. They drafted Calvin Ridley last year so they could possibly already have their Julio replacement. Julio is gonna be 30 when next year starts and AJ Green is gonna be 31 and in the last year of his deal so either one could get traded for a discount. I don't see the Falcons or Bengals signing them to long term deals and no one is gonna give up a first or second round pick for aging receivers and that's why I believe we could get either one for a 3rd and 4th round pick this this offseason
  15. My only thing is I wanna go after a game changing receiver like Julio or AJ. I do think Beane makes a play for both guys. Not saying I don't like Enunwa but not as the top acquisition at the position
  16. AJ is going into the last year of his contract and always seems to have injury problems but is a top 5 receiver when healthy. The Bengals continue to be a mess year after year so I think it is possible to give up an aging receiver in a contract year for a 3rd and 4th rounder which will probably be about as best as they can get. Julio's situation for reasons I stated before about his contract issues and the fact that he held out in training camp this year, the fact that the Falcons have one of the worst defenses in the league and drafting Ridley last year might make it an idea the Falcons think about. The Falcons are 4-9 right now with Julio so what good is he actually doing that team? And because of age a 3rd rounder is probably as high as they will get but the Falcons may entertain the idea of giving him up for as many draft picks as possible
  17. The article that was posted on here a few days ago about how Beane can turn the Bills into contenders next year talked about giving up a 3rd and 4th round pick in 2019 for one of these guys. A 3rd and 4th is quite possible I think especially for the Falcons who are gonna want as many picks as possible to rebuild that defense in a defense heavy draft and the fact that Julio has contract issues and they drafted Calvin Ridley last year. If a 3rd and 4th doesn't work, I would think about giving up a 2nd and 5th. We could still have a first round pick. Julio is 30 and AJ is 31. No one is giving up 1st round pick for either one
  18. I obviously don't expect us to sign all these guys but I do think Beane is going big at receiver this offseason and I think there will at least be an attempt to trade for Julio or AJ Honestly, of all the guys I listed. My top choices (in no particular order) would be Trade for Julio or AJ Sign Tyler Eifert Sign Matt Paradis Sign Daryl Williams Sign DeMarcus Lawrence or Jadeveon (these two are probably the least likely and we can always draft a top pass rusher in the draft) Sign Jason Verrett That would be an amazing offseason. We have $91 million in cap room. Go get 'em
