I am thrilled we added Cooper to the team. The price was cheap for a player of his caliber, and the more weapons, the better. Still not the savior of the offense. He fills the role that one of MVS/Claypool were unsuccessfully brought in to fill. It's an important role, and it's worth noting that MVS has had some high-production games for New Orleans, so it isn't as though it was a particularly bad bet, just didn't work out. Cooper has not been a #1 WR for the Bills, and that's okay. Still a good addition to the squad.

You think the 2-12 Raiders would be 11-3 with Allen at QB? The Saints missed the playoffs multiple times with Drew Brees under Payton. QB goes a long way, but it isn't everything. Allen is extremely capable of playing clunkers, particularly when he feels like he has to do it all.

Yeah, loving the revisionism going on in this thread. Lots of folks acting like they didn't insist we were supposed to be a bottom-half passing attack on a playoffs-missing team that wouldn't be able to move the ball at all. We traded for, Cooper, sure. He replaced MVS and has been on the field for what, 1/3 of our games this season? And an active factor in what, two games? We could have never made the trade and we would still be a top offense on a team waltzing into the 2-seed.

Okay, this is actually an insane play. Squares up on a linebacker, wins handily, and wins so completely that he's still fully balanced and in position to keep the corner away from the play while still blocking/obstructing the linebacker. That's an elite block.

Fair take. Very good team but not viewed as a contender. Goff is firmly a Top 10 dude at this point in his career, and it's fascinating that he gets overlooked so much in these convos.

No team is perfect. If you hold out for the perfect team, you will always be disappointed. We held a lead the entire game over the hottest team in the league. Why would I possibly be upset?

Goff made some amazing throws and escapes/scrambles to keep their team in it today. The Lions' running game was nonfunctional and the whole offense had to be generated by Goff. He's a talented and experienced QB that had helmed a very good offense, and this year league-leading offense, for several consecutive seasons.

I'm just blown away that so many folks are unable to be happy that the Bills beat the hottest team in the league while being in control literally the entire game. Get some therapy or something. Yeesh.

We have plenty of games where Allen is not great and we win. Winning is obviously easier with great QB play, but the Bills are 11-3 with convincing wins against most teams they have beat.

Well, we forced that turnover, and the Bills are still up by 8 if you give the 49ers those 10 points. Must be miserable trying to find things to trash about a soon-to-be 10-2 team each week.

Regarding the run defense, y'all need to step back off of the ledge. Getting washed like this looks ugly, but statistically it's the better option to allow. The Bills are a fantastic team every season, maybe it's time to start trusting these schematic decisions?

It is deeply amusing watching certain posters use any and all statistics as a reason to bash elements of the Bills' offense. The Bills are currently #3 in points scored per game. The Ravens slowed the Bills offense by continuously confusing the protection calls and getting free runners through the LOS like every other play.

No. Refs almost always adjust the spot but Hollins appeared to have genuinely spotted the ball correctly, so no need.

I think many posters are kinda fed up with the constant "McDermott is too conservative!" and adjacent/derivative claims when the data show the opposite.
