We don’t do that to a lot of bad teams. 🤷♂️ -

Lamar with a perfect MVP throw in a high pressure moment right there. -

Lamar really really does not like incompletions, lol. Good grief. -

I wish we had a prime-of-his-career Shaq Thompson. He’s got true ferocity in the middle of the defense we could surely use. -

If McDermott is just gonna promote from within to run his defense, what’s the point? -

McDermott is a great culture guy, but when it comes to situational X’s and O’s I just never see us scheming up ways to take advantage of an opponent. We just line up and play and hope we execute perfection. I mean, if that’s all yer gonna bring the table then I could do that, lol. -

A Spencer Rattler-led offense does seem like the type of attack a good defensive coach should be able to just shut down. -

I wouldn’t assume this is the Bills taking their foot off the gas. Seems like several problems (that we’ve been aware of for some time now) just catching up to them all at once. -

No no, good defense means containing (sorta) and hoping for an offensive mistake. -

If our linebackers keep going down, do we entertain making an offer to the Bears for Edmunds? He’s still only 23, I think. 🤔 -

I actually meant to phrase that more like a question, hoping someone would confirm if that’s how it works. But I been day drinking 🤓 -

Shakir might have been able to put a foot on the end zone line and catch that for a touchback. -

All right let’s see if we can come up with an answer for 0-9 Spencer rattler. -

Does truth exist??
Yobogoya! replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Buddy I'm all about objective reasoning, to the extent we mere mortals are capable of it. Personally I'm of the belief that subjective bias makes absolute truth almost impossible- so all we can do is to strive to be as close as we can. But if the last 10+ years have taught me anything- it's that most of mainstream academia, news media and the medical-industrial complex certainly doesn't hold themselves to that standard anymore (if they ever did?). If you think you're going to find that standard on a random football message board, I don't know what to tell you. But if you'd like to get the ball rolling, by all means... show us the way. -

Damn, Joe Fergy asking the real questions! Didn't expect we'd be getting all existential on this random hump day on the PPP board. Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man? Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of sashimi? -

Truly it was one of the moments of all time. -
It probably helps a little bit that the Lions have some serious talent on that side of the ball- but it was fun watching his defense get after Lamar last night for sure. Worth noting that they're currently bottom-10 in points allowed. Be interesting to see how they progress throughout the year.

Do not take medical advice from Donald Trump.

In a vacuum, when it comes to exaggerated rhetoric from both sides? No, it's not ok with me. But none of the political elite in this country are asking my permission before they speak, so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make lol. -

That’s politics in America today, buddy. Don’t act like it isn’t both sides. -

I mean who you trust or don't trust is your prerogative, just as it is for any of us. Ultimately the Harvard report was recommending "judicious" use of tylenol during pregnancy- ie, lowest effective dose. It's about risk/benefit. You find these warnings for pregnant women on pretty much everything these days. I think people are reading way too much into this, because- well because Trump is Trump and can't help but go "bull in a china shop" no matter what he's saying, lol. -

Probably because the Harvard report which is the basis for this announcement was published a month ago, and the FDA concluded their review of it just now? People are acting like Trump concocted this announcement himself, but he's essentially just informing the public about the results of a completely independent study. Which is what RFKjr said he would do: be transparent about information that's pertinent to public health. Ultimately you and your loved will make your own decision about whether to take tylenol when you're pregnant, but this is really just going to amount to an updated warning label. That's it.
