  1. Agreed, I'll take the dominant win all day. But I have a really hard time thinking of a worse team the bills have faced In the Allen Era.
  2. Still not sold on edmunds, he had a great game no denying it and I loved it. Main reason I'm not sold is that could possibly be the worst offense edmunds and the bills have played in edmunds pro career. Mills was absolutely no threat to that defense today. I'm not rooting against edmunds at all, I'd love nothing more than him to prove me wrong against the cheifs, but If we use the Texans offense as measurement then the entire bills D needs a contract extension lol.
  3. More like terrible refs, giving lamar 2 seconds after the play clock hit zero.
  4. Thank you, I thought I was the only one that noticed him covering grass on large chunk plays. But to me the biggest frustration is as a MLB getting absolutely put on roller skates on screen plays by an open feild block by slow lineman or tight ends. And many seem to forget how exploitable he his when Milano wasn't on the feild last year, the LB core without Milano got diced up in short passing.
  5. "If Allen Plays Like Crap This Week, Accept that He's Simply Not Good Wednesday at 07:43 AM It was literally a thread, and quite a few people agreed lol. But I do admit many people were just worried, most weren't grabbing pitch forks.
  6. Just keep sending your beer up north and we are good
  7. I agree with the fact some people react way too harshly too quickly. It surprises me how quickly some people turned on Allen in 2 weeks. But as for Edmunds I think it's been a long conversation for several years now. Me personally he's played above average at his best. If Milano isn't there to help he's below average. We've all had high hopes for Edmunds to just take that next step but at this point I think with us knocking on the super bowl door people are tired of waiting. We wanted him to be peaking while the team makes its run but some can argue he might have regressed. Trust me if he took that next step and made me look stupid I'd love it, but I'm not holding my breath at this point.
  8. I truly do not understand how anyone defends edmunds other than just reading his tackle numbers. If we didn't have Milano, offenses could throw swings and screens the entire game, edmunds gets completely taken out of plays by open feild blocks from slow offensive lineman. There's definitely worse options at linebacker, but the investment put into edmunds and what we are getting in return is not there.
  9. I think the wft is better than the spread, but with that being said brisset and tua were absolutely running for their lives against our rush. I think we give Heineke a tough day if we carry that over. Heineke isn't a scrub but he's definitely not good enough to avoid the rush and beat you like a lamar or mahomes. Really love to see josh do some play action get comfortable with some easy throws.
  10. Everyone panicking after josh starts the year against two of the most elite secondaries in the NFL with his o line playing like jv high schoolers. Meanwhile lamar throws 3 picks, overthrows receivers all night but beats the chiefs and he's back to mvp talk 😆
  11. He is, but then he isn't. That's what makes him Incredibly frustrating to watch at times. You see his athleticism fly around the feild, then you watch the screen play in the first quarter, o lineman who isn't half the athlete edmunds is from 10 yards away open feild blocks edmunds into the next area code and gives up a big chunk play. He has every tool an athlete can hope for, I just want him to take that next step.
  12. Edmunds getting completely taken out of the play on a screen by an o lineman he saw coming 10 yards away. These are the things that drive me nuts about him.
  13. I'm already loving all the "bills overrated" talk. Any body remember what team and qb looked like absolute garbage week 1 last year? I welcome the trash talking, bills play better as under dogs.
  14. I like alot of your points. The ball handling by josh continues to scare me, disciplined defenses are going to exploit that. I will say I actually liked the work from our young D ends. They collapsed the pocket quickly. And Pittsburgh got away with many holding penalties today. Even so big ben gets the ball out so quick he's tough to sack. Stats wise it wasn't great pass rush but I'm excited for the future.
  15. I agree with that sometimes our answer seems to be "i know your getting hammered but go be special josh, make magic happen." If anything I'm more worried about the continuation of our atrocious 3rd quarter play, not only did we not adjust but we came out looking flat after half like much of last year. At some point it's not coincidence, something needs to change about our 2nd halves.
  16. As far as an offensive game plan, everyone has a plan until you get hit in the face. The bills got hit in the face when the steelers front 4 could not be stopped. Watt could have had 8 sacks if Allen wasn't an athlete.
  17. I agree about some suspect play calls on 3rd and 4th downs. But I imagine when the steelers don't have to change packages or blitz at all cuz the front 4 are absolutely destroying our O line it makes it very difficult to scheme. You can't catch them on a blitz or out of formation cuz the Steelers were literally beating our entire offense with 4 guys.
  18. I agree, I think everything kinda stemmed from the O line getting absolutely owned by the steelers 4. The pressure stressed Allen, making play calls difficult. Not sure why everyone is saying Allen played like trash, he had an off day but there isn't a qb in the nfl that succeeds from that kind of front 4 pressure. (See mahomes superbowl). We made a few huge mistakes against an elite D. You don't win games that way.
  19. 1. Steelers are better than they get credit for. 2. How did the bucs beat the cheifs? Got pressure with 4 didn't have to blitz. O line got murdered by watt today. 3. Coaching decisions were rusty today, take the 3 points when you can against elite defenses. 4. Josh was a little off today but he should have been sacked 10 times today, no qb would have succeeded better than Allen with how under pressure he was. 5. Was not thrilled with play calling on 3rd down or 4th. 6. Learned lessons today, had a down day against an elite defense, that rarely comes out well. The bills are far from a bad team. Could be the kick in the ass we needed.
  20. Game is far from over. I hate to be the guy to grab the pitch forks on daboll, but crunch time play calls have been disastorous today. Hopefully he figures it out Game is far from over. 21. That's no surprise. Big ben gets that all day
  22. I think that was an option play for josh. Unless that stutter step by josh was by design. I think if he has a hole he takes it, if he doesn't it's a swing play. But steelers D is way too disciplined to fall for that.
  23. Josh thought he had a free play. He's not going to get any help from refs today
