  1. I don't understand the Miami fear. Haven't we shown consistently that we know how to beat them, usually by a lot?
  2. Who is "we"? I've never been down on McDermott.
  3. You cost me my patience.
  4. They weren't dodgy at all about the Hyde signing. He just so clearly lost a big step the last time he was playing. He doesn't have the coverage range. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him elevated as a backup to play in spot duty. I guess we'll see what happens.
  5. They told you exactly what it was when he was signed. They said the expectations were extremely low for him. He was signed to a practice squad spot. He is there to provide some leadership and depth in case of emergency, just like any other practice squad player. If you read more into it, that's on you, especially when they were so clear that he was not brought in to start.
  6. Expectations are always dangerous. I don't think anyone should expect a blowout in the national football league. Fans are mad because their expectations are not aligned with reality. And the reality is that it is a week to week league and divisional games can be tight regardless of talent and records. And that is part of what makes the NFL great. You can't predict well what will happen.
  7. Everything Worthy gets is heavily manufactured for him.
  8. Bills: 23 Jets: 20
  9. I have seen many games from that era. I have Kelly over Allen because I still think his legacy is greater than Allen's. He took the Bills to 4 superbowls and has 5 pro bowl and 1 all pro seasons versus Allen's 2 pro bowl and no all pro seasons. He also has 101 wins to Allen's 75. Kelly also has 10k more passing yards and about 40 more passing TDs. He played in a much more difficult era to play QB. I just think his accomplishments are greater than Josh Allen's. If we are going with pure talent, it would be Josh Allen, but to me, being the best means more than just talent. It requires accomplishments and awards like superbowls, pro bowls, etc., and it also means longevity and accumulating stats and wins. I have no doubt that Josh Allen will end his career as the best QB in Bills history and will be a first-ballot hall of famer.
  10. Nope, I'm a young guy! But Bills history is really interesting to me. I'm not even old enough to remember the 90's superbowl teams, haha.
  11. He became what he was largely after he left.
  12. Merry Christmas eve!
  13. Peters is a HOF player for another team. He barely played for the Bills, so I don't even consider him a former Bills great. You can if you want, though.
  14. It isn't Christmas yet...
  15. 16. Against a bad team. He does nothing against good teams.
  17. I don't want to resign Rousseau. In fact, I'd move on from as much of the dline as possible and get some high draft picks and free agents in to replace them. I'm sick of them doing nothing in important games. I want a reset.
  18. He looked really good to me. He dealt with a lot of pressure and was able to deliver the ball. He seemed to have poise. He throws a nice ball and is athletic. Pats fans should be excited. But, we've seen a lot of promising young QBs who end up not progressing. He needs to show in the next few seasons that he can grow as a player. The bar for rookies is a lot lower. What is impressive for a rookie is not necessarily impressive for a 5th year QB. That's only going to happen if they actually show they can draft and develop talent. Plus, Mayo has to go. They still have a huge hill to climb.
  19. Puna Ford is playing for the Chargers and doing pretty well.
  20. This fanbase is insufferable sometimes... Goodnight everybody!
  21. Good win! Go get another win next week!
  22. Dude, they blitzed him so many times on key downs and he completed many throws like that.
  23. It was pretty obvious that it was either a break or a really bad sprain. But since he continued to protect it, it became obvious that it was broken.
  24. I would have liked to see him be more of a leader and he be the one comforting guys and rallying them. As the QB, you have to be a little above everything and everyone else. You have to be a leader and an authority figure. Some guys have that and some don't. Most of the great ones do.
