It HELPED the offense. Cook was pissed and went out and balled after. Davis should have been benched after that dropped pass too. The players need to be held accountable just as much as coaches. They are making too many bone-headed mistakes out there. That is what has been killing most of the drives.

Do you think the Bills brass and coaches read this forum ??
MJS replied to arcadia bob's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think you realize the hours that coaches put in. There is zero chance they read this message board. -
When that happened I said "of course he caught that", because those things seem to always happen to the Bills.

I was begging him not to blitz there. It was a horrible call.
-
I agree, but he makes a couple of back breaking plays like that nearly every game.
-
How is that not on Josh? What does the guy have to do before he takes blame?
-
I was on board until you mentioned a 2nd round pick. No way is heck would anyone give a 2nd rounder for Mac Jones. Probably a 4th rounder.

The odds makers disagree. The Chiefs have the highest odds right now at +500, which is an applied probability of 16.7%. Even the best teams have a mountain to climb to make and win a superbowl. That's why teams rarely repeat. They sometimes do, but it is rare.

It is never "likely" to make a superbowl, for any team.

I don't think we need to look at the deeper meaning behind every game. It's a football game. I'll be rooting for the Bills to win it. If they don't, that sucks. Every loss will make it more difficult to get into the playoffs. If they do, great. Go win another one next week.

Yep. We'll see.

So, we're all disappointed with Davis, so in your mind that means we should have been able to trade him for a really good draft pick? If we are disappointed, everyone else is too. They can see his limitations as a player just like we can. His stock has never been lower. We would have gotten a 5th rounder, maybe. He is on the final year of his deal, after all. So he is half season rental with limitations as a #2 WR. I'm sure teams were lining up to trade for him...

A fine? That's just ridiculous.

Travis Kelce on Josh Allen taunting penalty: "So F---- whack"
MJS replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
He does get penalties for that now. He didn't used to. -
Well, NFL Championships are not the same as Superbowl Championships. They correlate to NFC and AFC championships today. The Superbowl is a very specific thing. It is the game that two championship teams play against each other. It did not exist before 1967.

That was a fluke. The defender punched the ball out perfectly. Just a good defensive play.

Ben Solak (The Ringer) Analysis of Josh's Decisions this Year

Yes, and defenses are taking advantage of that. You have to be able to evolve your game. -
National media are starting to grind their collective axes

It's the same ones that have been talking about it all year. (Whoa, this was my 15,000th post. I need to get a life.) -
Travis Kelce on Josh Allen taunting penalty: "So F---- whack"
MJS replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they make a good point that there are far worse things you can do, including screaming in their face and calling them all manner of foul names, but simply pointing is called every time. They just need to do away with taunting. They can still call really bad stuff under unsportsmanlike conduct. They don't need a separate taunting stuff for these silly things. Allen was basically saying "Ha! Got you." The defender would probably agree.
