  1. Simple answer. Your boss give you an order, you follow it or become quickly unemployed.
  2. Then again if the top 2 guys stay in school with all the teams needing QB, wouldn't be shocking to see a Christian Ponder-ish skyrocket.
  3. What's even more incredible...there were reports a few weeks ago saying the Bengals were interested in trading for a coach with a 1-31 record.
  4. I refuse to believe anyone could be worse than Wayne Fontes or Kay Stephenson ???
  5. That would be the smart move. I don't care how well liked His is by players, it's really hard to ask a fan base to support and players to sign as free agents for a coach that went 0-16. Frankly I would love nothing more than to see them and us turn it around and have a Bills/Browns rivalry much like the Patties/Colts used to be. Both fan bases deserve some excitement.
  6. I do think they hit 16 losses this season. But make no mistake...I think they finally have a competent GM running the show now. Sashi Brown was completely out of his element and completely over his head. He was even less qualified than Russ Brandon to be an NFL GM. The biggest question for them I see is...Is Hue the right guy for the job? Was the problem all the front office?
  7. I believe the defense in Buffalo was all due to Schwartz. But I do give credit to Marrone for the hire. I also believe that he inherited a heck of a defense from Gus Bradley. But I do give him credit for bringing in the last few parts to make it better. As far as for those that point to how unlikeable he is...you are correct. But who cares? Winning makes me like a coach. Belichick...not very likeable. Coughlin... basically just a grumpy old unlikeable guy. They win. Rex Ryan. Guy is very likeable to some. He's fun. He's a loser. Chan Gailey... extremely likeable. Just wouldn't want either of them running my football team.
  8. They still "gave" us Celine Dion. This is why deporting Rosie O'Donnell to Canada is more of a priority then ever before.
  9. Same here. He's a big hitter. Wonder if he has PS eligibility left. As far as how long he will last before getting hurt...the real question is if Gaines plays who gets hurt first? I may still go with Colt. Opening kickoff. I mean, it's a pretty cool first name. I like that.
  10. That's good. Not Dan Carpenter and the helmet good. But good nonetheless!
  11. Yeaaaa...that's ummmm...one heck of a Murderers Row ? Meds. He needs some.
  12. I was going to discuss...but I honestly have no foggy clue how anything you said even remotely relates to my point.
  13. And it would also be true that they wouldn't be worried about any of the players, officials or microphones that are plastered literally all over the NFL field on gameday picking up what they are saying. Pretty certain even if the NFL was "in on it" that the media would love to break a story so compelling.
  14. Ok so...the Eagles were up 3. Carr and the official had an odd discussion obviously about making sure the point spread was covered. Next play, Eagles score and then still don't cover the spread due to taking a knee on the extra point. Do I have that scenario correct? If the "fix" was on what help was that TD? Was it just the Eagles weren't in on it? Could it be they didn't want to risk injury with a competitive play? It's absolutely hysterical how after we play the Patties every 3rd thread is a conspiracy thread.
  15. Sweet Jesus, I remember being optimistic when Thigpen signed here. Though he could be a find.
  16. Nothing? Both teams already had a really good defense. The Rams had a decent offensive line and Gurley (who could end up with MVP votes). The Eagles had an awesome oline. I would actually say both teams built up BEFORE landing a franchise QB. I don't care how great a guy "projects" into the NFL. The trade the OP suggests is just way too much. Look at where we grabbed White in the last draft. Should be roughly where the Chiefs pick falls. Can grab a solid guy there and another solid guy with our first pick. I'm not giving up the chance of 3 potential staters this year for one guy who "should" work out well.
  17. I would not. That's way too much to give up for a team that has holes at OL, DL, LB, WR. Build a team...or I mean we could always end up like Indy the past couple of years. Have a franchise QB, and nothing else. Said franchise QB spends time in Europe during the season because he's hurt. This one season, yes they are. Give it time. It's amazing how fast a team like that can fall flat. The Giants were in the playoffs last year. McAdoo was "amazing"...and is now unemployed. I'd be more surprised if they didn't and flip him for another QB and picks...much like the Manning/Rivers trade.
  18. Honestly he is a better commentator then he was QB. And I don't think he was that bad a QB. I just think with his injury history mixed with basically l, what 2 years of not playing...he's done. I would actually inquire if he's interested in coaching. I think he would do well grooming a young draftee.
  19. After an interesting season this is what it comes down to...4 big games on Sunday. The outcome of them dictates if we hit 18 years of lost seasons, or finally taste a playoff game. So, who ya got? Jags-30 Titans-13 Ravens-20 Bengals-16 Raiders-27 Chargers-21 OT Bills-19 Dolphins-7 ALSO, if it breaks like I have predicted...does Doug Marrone get any kind of forgiveness for walking out on the Bills Mafia?
  20. He plays well in a meaningless week 17 game "See we should have drafted him, fire McBean, what a Billsy thing to do" He looks awful "It's just 1 game, the Denver defense is legit, it's his first start" There, arguments are all set for this one...
