  1. We looked at Wilson and Niang but Isiah is too slow for Sean's designs. LA Rams wanted more mobility. There are some schemes that Wilson will fit better but the lack of mobility and explosion was troubling. Cleveland is the superior athlete and can do more in our program.
  2. The LA Rams select Ezra Cleveland, OL, Boise State . While the crowd was urging a flashy outside skill player GM Snead instead chose to concentrate closer to the ball and to count on QB and scheme to be sufficient for now. The Rams get decent value here at a position of need. Snead eyes the back and flanks as the battle formations continue to form. Onward!! The Vikings and @bkep32 are on the clock.
  3. I believe Mr. Beane will not draft a tackle this year. They may grab a UDFA and see what Bates and Williams have if Ford doesn't progress. If things don't work out they will make Ford a OG and try again in April 2021 for a RT. That is just what I think.
  4. I think that the Bills might be more disappointed in the Cowboys pick than they are in the Rams in this Mock. Arnette is a nice value.
  5. The Los Angeles Rams select Terrell Lewis, Edge/ODL, Alabama The Rams fans are chanting for an Offensive play-maker but Gm Snead believes it is best to fortify the line here, try to create some pressure on opposing QBs and let his genius Head coach scheme the Offense to Success. The Eagles and wppete are up and on the clock
  6. Didn't you tell us OL Jon Miller was going to be the cat's pajamas?
  7. The Jets have won 7 of their last 8; while the Bill's have lost 4 of their last 5. Maybe we better see how the season starts, if it does and then see where we stand.
  8. I am not sure from where NewEra's sentiment derives but if I were at #2 and only had Dwayne Haskins to lean on I would draft Tua 10 times out of 10, if his medicals actually checked out. this is a QB driven league and it is my opinion one must grab a franchise QB if you have the chance. A team doesn't draft top 5 that often so I think you have to go for it. I am enjoying this exercise and do not find it ruined.
  9. Saints Rams Cardinals Falcons Patriots I will look Wednesday afternoon. Thank you
  10. Love the Gladney pick, and Kelley there, but I don't know the others well enough to comment
  11. Why do you like Greenard over Lewis? I see some analysts much prefer Lewis. I haven't seen either play so I am interested in your opinion, GB.
  12. Nice logic. The OL, except maybe Morse, are all very average. Not all 1st rounders like what Dallas put together a few years back. The Bill's have seen worse but another stud or two would be great
  13. Maybe Elon will step up at some point
  14. I think the Patriots have 12 and the Dolphins have a bunch early, including as we know, 3 (presently) in the first round.
  15. DJ Williams looks like a good strong athlete. What is his current projection on Round?
  16. I recall the 2003 NFL Draft. The Buffalo Bills were in need of a Defensive End who could rush the passer. The Bills were drafting in the 20's that year. Not because they were good the prior year but had traded their first away and then re-gained a first by trading Peerless Price to the Falcons. Edge rushers kept going off the board and by the time the Bills came up the cupboard was bare. Suggs, Ty Warren and Calvin Pace had gone off the Board as well as one Jeramie McDougal and the apple of Bills' fan's eye, Michael Haynes of Penn State. The Bills with Tom Donahoe as GM drafted Willis Mcgahee, which was ok. Then they drafted for need, however, in the second at the 48th pick took lunch-pail favorite Chris Kelsay. Kelsay's career was the epitome of pedestrian. He made Shaq Lawson seem like a phenom. I guess I see a lesson that don't overdraft for need at that position. Chris Kelsay's are prevalent and 54 should be a little better than pedestrian, I do really hope. If they believe in a DE there, fine, but don't reach for need. CB, RB and OT Best player there. Devin didn't start week one?
  17. Cheering for the Saints, big time then.
  18. I wish No. 15 and No. 40 had been blocking for Josh on that sweep where Knox whiffed his block (can't think of an apt metaphor but it was bad)
