I mute for 85% of these people. Music is good, beer, food...no insufferable babble heads.

I am holding back on commenting here or in the Barkley Bitcoin thread. I will go check on a mock draft, and then go off the wall to fire my current events opinions.

Brian Flores suing NFL, NY Giants, Dolphins, Broncos.

In my review of "Mocks" it appears to me that Minnesota is the fulcrum. If the Vikes go CB (often McDuffie) I think BBB will have to decide if Gordon or Elam are worth the reach. In the mocks, when Minnesota goes DL there is often one of the top CBs for the Bills at 25. I am certain that the Bills have a strategy for various scenarios but in its most basic form that is how I see things developing on the night of the first round, with Minnesota being the key to one of the top 4 (usually Booth) being available.

I think Jordan Poyer has been, and will continue to be, a fantastic player. I hope BBB can find a way to keep him but would not be surprised if he couldn't. Poyer and Hyde have been elite and it will be sad to see that era pass.

I don't think the Bills will take two "skill position" players in the first three rounds. I think it is going to be CB, OL and "skill position" (TE, RB or WR), probably in that order.

Pick 9 of the 3rd Round from the Covid quarantined Mock GM of the Indianapolis Colts is Jayln Armour-Davis DB Alabama The Colts were intrigued by some of the QBs, although there is time for that yet, and certainly had the small school WR that the Jets drafted a few spots ahead clearly in their sights. But after grabbing the OT they wanted in round two they add length, athleticism and SEC experience to the back end of their defense. The AFC being stocked with A+ QBs this player seemed logical and necessary. The Falcons @Alphadawg7 are on the clock.

The Colts select Bernhard Raimann OT Central Michigan Indianapolis has a strong roster but will need an OT and a developmental QB. This FO was looking at Corral but would have taken the OT here even if Corral remained on the Board. Matty Ice has two years left while Eric Fischer is aging out fast and the Colts love the value with Raimann still on the board here. High Fives all around. The Atlanta Falcons with @Alphadawg7are on the clock for the next selection.

I think Seattle may go for the Safety if he is still there. Pete loves his DBs and many think he is the best player in the draft, albeit not at a premium position (like LT)
-
@GunnerBill is on the clock.

I think Virgil wants you to add The Jets @GunnerBill are on the clock

I think the QBs may fall a little bit. Not sure they will be in play at 2 or 6. I understand that is the current media take, and Vegas betting odds, but these guys aren't that highly graded compared to previous years. I guess Carolina is desperate, but there is better talent on the board.
-
Could this be our first QB? Or will the Cats show some patience and wait for the value to meet the slot.

CB and OL are very thin.

So not only not to the NFC, but directly to our Division. I guess the Jets and Fins watch Hill destroy our defense every time we play. -
I don't know much, but I do really think, resolutely, that Cody Ford is not an answer. And that Cody Ford cannot be coached up, nor salvaged by anyone at this point. I don't like to be negative but that one just did not work out.

Star released. Pre-6/1 per Joe B, $1.5M cap savings.

As long as the "whipping boy" subject is predominant in this thread I want to take this opportunity to defend M. Stevenson (#5). I think it is way too early to give up on him and decide after a few plays that "he has no vision" and/or "only has straight line speed". While both of those may be true, I don't want to jump to any conclusions without giving the young man a full chance. I think the sample size is too small to make those conclusions, in a concrete sense. -
I read in a local paper that Tim Settle of the Commanders might be a "break out" option. the journalist felt he was buried on the depth chart but could shine given a chance.
