  1. Please don't draft Josh Allen Please don't draft Josh Allen Please don't draft Josh Allen Ple...
  2. Only one mention of Marino up to this point, thought it'd be more, him or Elway IMO
  3. The Mayfield/Jets combo just feels like a match to me, I think he'd love the big city attention...now whether he'd like the attention over actually playing well? ...I'd hope so
  4. based on that highlight video (and nothing more) I like that he has a couple different speeds on his throws (fast ball and a touch throw) and seems to be strong in the pocket with a touch of mobility....but I don't really like his accuracy all that much, especially on deep out routes and go routes. Like I've read in this thread, that seems to be more attributed to foot work which can be adjusted...but it's still a cause for concern to me. He's a ball of clay, far from a finished product...put him in the right system with the right coach in his ear and it could work....would still prefer to have a vet bridge for a year or two... I think he has more potential than Peterman at this point, he could fill that clipboard role as an upgrade, at least
  5. I asked Matthew Fairburn a similar question on Twitter earlier today and he replied that the odds of retaining Taylor would increase (presumably because of some similarities in skill set between Wilson and Taylor) but not by a ton, Fairburn then added he would prefer Baker Mayfield tho. ...but obviously that's just speculation from him, guess my point is Bevell could see some things in Taylor he may want to work with... I'm hoping for a different vet QB and a rookie pick, myself
  6. Was at a NYE party, screamed a ton but didn't cry then...got back home around 1:30 and caught back up on Twitter at the same time the plane arrived and those videos came in which overwhelmed me to tears...so happy to see that locker room so amped up, gotta go kick Saint Doug's ass, let's get it!
  7. ...they're not leading *this* division - find a way to consistently compete/beat the *Pats and then we'll talk
  8. I'm hit or miss on em, I easily think their best segments are before Sabres game at 4pm with Rob Ray tho, I always catch those when I can
  9. I care to differ on your opinion of 'it's hard to screw up red, white, and blue' Exhibit A Love the unis now, hated those abominations...
  10. Read three pages of this thread....first page was completely on the rails, page 6 had started to tail off.... page 16, we are off the deep end, folks. Fun read
  11. 1000% agree, when you watch the replay Zay comes out of his break running towards the 5 yard line...if he opens up his route and runs towards the pylon it's a score..doesn't condone the awful play of the offense for the first three quarters of the game, Tyrod's still not great, Zay's still not a polished receiver yet, but I still put that play on Zay...the ball is on time (for a change) edit: for all we know Zay was supposed to get to the five and catch it out of bounds..in which case the throw IS on Tyrod...none of us know for certain, but just my initial reaction was that's on Zay...by about a 65/35 margin
  12. gives a great perspective of Tyrod's night and how ....yes, he made at least 3-4 mistakes overall but to see that o-line disintegrate from all the Schwartz blitzes was disheartening to say the least... point being it wasn't all on Tyrod. Little more gameplanning for Baltimore and I think some improvement will emerge.. Ty's the starter one way or another, great work Erik and crew
  13. Totally understandable for Boldin to have demands, but c'mon...why take the Bills meeting then?
  14. ...remembered that, and Terrence McGee was an absolute monster on kick returns, and that Eric Moulds/Peerless Price/Bledsoe combo was absolutely deadly
  15. Thought the same thing after those clips, completely forgot about that Hollis crossbar kick, such a great call
  16. https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/872017886147162113 Per Shefty Former Chiefs' WR Jeremy Maclin is scheduled to visit Buffalo today, with plans being made to visit Baltimore on Wednesday, per source. ...Sounds like the Bills will get one day to close it out, we'll see
  17. He could be a nice piece at the right price (4 mil or so) to back up Sammy if (when?) he gets hurt, or to have a rotation where Sammy/Zay can work the slot...but a) Beane is going to develop through the draft and not sign any 'splashy' free agents, b) there's no way he's going to only sign for 4 mil/yr based on the interest he'll get, and c) it feels like more of a luxury than we would need in a run-happy offense, especially a run-happy offense that may be gearing up to throw the ball a ton to DiMarco/Shady in the flat
